your pov:

after triple-checking everything, my lugagge, my room, my pc, and my phone, i decided to check what time it was. my kitchen clock blared out '11:00'.

'oh my god, its almost time' i thought.

suddenly, a ping sound came from out my phone. immediately grabbing it, i checked from who it was from. nick.

'jesus christ.'

grabbing my bag, my headphones, and my phone, i ran out the door and locked it. I then dashed into an elevator. since my apartment was located on some of the higher floors, i had to use the elevator or the stairs. i didnt feel like walking down 15 flights of stairs, so i just went with the other option. i checked out, and ran outside to the parking lot.

'wait. what was their car again? didn't nick have a tesla or something.. what a loser for spending his money on a fancy car.' i thought out of jealousy.

suddenly, i heard honking. i turned over to see, of course, a white tesla with its lights on.

"HEY! GET IN THE CAR, ITS FREEZING OVER HERE!" i heard a familiar voice say.

i speed-walked over to the car, hoping that it was the right one. once i got over there, i opened the car door and sat down in the seat between the driver and passenger seats. i laid back in my seat panting. i never did realize how cold it was till i got into the car. i looked over to the front and found two heads facing towards me.

"not even a hello?" larry said.

i just smirked at him. nick smiled back at me.

"alright, let's go home." nick says while putting his hands back on the wheel.

"can we at least stop for food? i'm starving.." larry groans.

"whatever." nick mutters, busy pulling out of the parking spot.

'holy shit. i'm actually in this car. no fucking way.' i thought to myself, smiling.

"sooo, [name]. you have everything?" larry says while looking back at me.

"yeah, triple-checked and everything." i responded.

"YOU SOUND SO DIFFERENT." larry yells at me while grinning.

"well yeah, this is real life. how long has it been since you've stepped outside?"

"actually, i go to the gym everyday. and i'm saying that since your voice sounded higher on discord." he defended.

"wait what, do all of you go to the gym?" i asked in genuine astonishment.

"i mean, yeah. best way to stay healthy and get ladies." he says while flexing his muscles.

my face immediately turned white from what he said.

"i just got second-hand embarrassment from you saying that." i gagged out.

larry and nick started to laugh. my face of disgust slowly turned into a face of content. i decided to laugh a bit with them. turning over to the window, i watched as all the cars rushed past us on the highway and how the stars were just barely visible in the midnight blue colored sky. as nick and larry talked and laughed to each other about stupid things, i went on my phone and watched tiktok for a bit. after about 30 minutes, my adrenaline officially wore off. sleepiness overcame me and i decided to put my phone away and take a nap.
