It was 7:30 am when Tori's alarm clock went off, she quickly turned it off and twisted and turned in her bed. She wasn't ready to get up for the academy. 'Just five more minutes' she thought to herself and let herself fall into slumber once again... Well she only got about 30 peaceful seconds before an annoying alarm clock started to go off.
This wasn't her alarm this time, this time it was the alarm of one of her roommates and best friends, sage. Tori groaned and sat up in bed;she looked over at her best friend who also sat up to turn off their alarm. Both of the best friends looked at each other and sage gave Tori a small nod. "I think debs already in the bathroom.. " sage scratched their head and looked at the closed bathroom door in their shared dorm.
Each dorm consisted of a bathroom, living room, a small kitchen and three two bedrooms. Each dorm was only meant to have two students each but since Deb joined the academy late, she was put with sage and Tori. Tori groaned and flopped back onto her bed "wake me up when she comes out" Tori mumbled to sage as she closed her eyes.
Without missing a beat deb walked out of the bathroom and sage quickly ran in after her. Tori sucked on her teeth and stared up at the ceiling.
How many years as it been since she's been home?? 2 years?? Yeah. Two years ago her father sent her away to a prestigious academy of the arts; this academy is own from all around the world and is filled with many academics for the students. When Tori came to this academy the first two friends she made were sage and her boy best friend sangjae, those were the only two people she trusted with her life and her secrets.
Everyone knows Tori but Tori doesn't know everyone. Tori was the top of her class and exiled in all of her after school activities, from fencing to woodwork she knew all of the basics.
Tori finally decided to get up and get her uniform ready for today.
"Wow Tori your energy today is very strong" deb smiled at Tori while she brushed her hair out. Tori hummed "thanks, I don't know what that means but thanks" Tori grabbed her lint roller and cleaned off the blazer of her uniform. "You can have good things coming your way, I feel like you're energy has been recharging and it's at its peak" deb gave Tori a thumbs up.
Tori was just about to reply until Sage came back from the bathroom "bathrooms free bestie" sage said to Tori and started to change into their school uniform. Tori walked off to the bathroom and closed the door behind her, time to get through another day.
"Yoo T! I got some good news, me and a few of my bros are gonna sneak out tonight.. You wanna sneak with us? We can go into town and get some slushies" sangjae talked quietly to Tori as they walked through the busy hallways. "Slushies? Hell yes I'll come, I can't wait for today to be over with.. Why do we have to go on this field trip anyways? Can't they just bring the zoo animals here like they did last time" Tori complained to sangjae. Sage snapped their fingers and shook their head "heck no, I wanna see some fish and frogs man! I'm happy we're going on a field trip and getting away from campus" sage smiled at the thought of getting off of campus.
Sangjae smiled "I wanna see a tiger" he said. Sage and sangjae quickly fell into a conversation about animals. Tori looked between the both of then and physically cringed. "Can you two shut up? Let's just get today over with and get some slushies tonight.. Sage you're coming by the way" Tori quickly spoke and sage frowned. "Huh? But-"
"Oh m gee can you nerds move out of my way"
Jennie shoved past the three and fixed her hair. "You could've went around us, this hallway is literally so big, you pushed passed us just to be a bitch" sangjae said to Jennie with a stank face. Jennie looked back at sangjae and rolled her eyes "wow look at the sewer rat talking to me, I didn't know rats could talk" Jennie said while she picked at her nails.
"Damn you thought you ate with that? It's crazy how an world wide famous academy let you in here especially when you can't achieve anything. How long have you been at the bottom of the class?? Five.. No six months? You'd be kicked out by now but the only reason you haven't been given the boot is because the academy has a student quota they need to meet each 2 months. " Tori spoke with a flat tone, jennies eyes went wide as Tori ripped down her self confidence and stepped all over it.
"Yea, I bet your parents paid hella money just to keep your ass away from home. Your parents don't love you and you're stupid as shit, that's embarrassing" sangjae added on.
"And your makeup makes you look like a clown" sage added on.
The three all laughed with each other and gave each other highfives.
"Uhm I don't have any parents, I stayed with my uncle" Jennie ran her hand through her hair and looked down at her feet. The trio all looked at each other in silence then fell into a laughter.
"Bitch ain't got no parents" sangjae laughed extra Loud and pointed to Jennie. Sage slapped their knee and held their stomach from laughing to hard. Tori clapped her hands and pointed at Jennie along with sangjae. "Fatherless and motherless, embarrassing hahah!! " Tori laughed. Jennie huffed and stormed off leaving the three friends laughing in the middle of the hallway.
Once the threw calmed down they looked around and saw many students staring at them with concern in their eyes, but the trio didn't care. They walked down the hallway till a certain someone ran straight into Tori.
Tori landed right on her ass and cursed under her breath. She looked up and met eyes with none other than changmin, her ongoing crush of 2 years. "Oh my gawd I'm so sorry Tori are you okay? I didn't see you in my line of sight.. NOT that I'm saying you're short I mean you are short but like you have the average height of a teenage girl.. I'll just shut up" changmin rambled on and on as he helped Tori up. Tori stood to her feet and looked at her hand in changmins hand, his hand was warm and welcoming.. She liked it.
Tori looked up at changmin and smiled "it's okay, just watch where you're going our you'll start bumping people over.. " Tori spoke to changmin with a soft voice, her grip on his hand becoming tighter. Changmin smiled "of course Tori, I'm glad I bumped into you though. Can I borrow your notes from chemistry? I kinda fell asleep because none of it made sense to me and apparently we're supposed to be having a surprise quiz. Oh Soobin told me that by the way because he's the president of the school council so you probably know who he is" changmin talked on and on, unaware that he hasn't let go of Tori hand.
Sangjae and sage both looked at each other then at Tori who had her full attention on changmin.
"Yea and then the pasta fell like, everywhere.. I'm sorry am I talking to much? I tend to do that a lot I dunno why haha" changmin pulled his hand away and smiled at Tori. Toris hands balled up into a fist at the loss of Changmins hand, but that was okay, she enjoyed anything that had to do with changmin.
"It's okay... Just be careful.. Come on guys" Tori grabbed Sage and Sangjaes wrist and quickly pulled them down the hallway.
"Tori and changmin kissing in a tree" sangjae sang. "K-I-S-S-I-N-G" sage sang right after sangjae. Tori let out an irritating groan and the two laughed at Tori.
"You guys literally just had a moment" sangjae said. "Oh my god shut up" Tori pulled both of her friends down the stairs with her.
"Shit wait-" sage immediately tripped over their own foot and tumbled down the stairs, they held on tight to Toris hand and pulled her and sangjae down the stairs as well.
"DAMMIT SAGE!"
