It had been several days since the Going Merry had fled from Logue Town. Everyone on board seemed to still be on guard, their eyes peeled for any lingering Marine ships that may be following them. But they were in the clear for now.

Y/N had spent these few days getting to know the ship as well as her fellow crew mates. She shared many laughs, ate Sanji's delicious cooking and spent long afternoons relaxing in the sun. She trained with Zoro, even though she could barely lift the lightest weight the swordsman had. She needed to be stronger physically and mentally. Y/N had no idea what was in store for her, but she was excited nonetheless. She was glad to have met this band of goofy pirates, she whole heartedly believed that Luffy would become king of the pirates just like he had explained several times. It was a goal that she would do anything to see him achieve.

The crews next goal was the grand line. That was their gateway to adventure and endless possibilities. While most where thrilled and bursting with excitement, some were scared and nervous for what was to come, mostly just Usopp. Y/N was also a bit nervous. She hadn't ever imagined she'd find herself aboard a ship of pirates and heading straight into the grand line. Y/N had heard horror story after horror story from pirates who narrowly escaped the sea with their lives. While some of them may have been bluffing, most of them were true.

"Y/NNNN...." Luffy whined your name with a frown as he leaned over the table in front of you. He laid his rubbery face on the table. "I'm SO bored! You should show us more of that cool devil fruit power you have!" His mood perked up a little as he said that. Sanji was listening off to the side cooking at the stove and pretending like he wasn't there, but he was also curious as to what else Y/N could do. "It's really not that cool. I really haven't had these powers for that long. Only 3 years. I still haven't fully gotten the hang of it. And I don't really like to rely on my powers too much. It makes me lazy." Y/N shrugged her shoulders a little.

Nami walked over and sat next to Y/N at the table. She placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "Oh come on Y/N, I've seen some pretty stupid devil fruit powers in my day and yours definitely isn't stupid, it has a lot of potential." Y/N glanced over at Nami and smiled. "I guess so." Y/N said with a sigh. She leaned back a bit and focused her attention to the room around her, from the door knobs, the counters, window, chairs, cutlery, and every grain of spice. She became entirely aware and fully focused. The room got became silent as Sanji, Luffy and Nami watched Y/N. Slowly a familiar purple aura began to emanate from her body. It flowed and moved like calm waters. Y/N turned her attention towards the stove where Sanji was cooking. There was a pot of stew cooking away and beside it on the counter was a wooden spoon. The aura enveloped the spoon, lifting it up into the air. The spoon gently dropped into the pot and slowly began stirring the soup clockwise. Sanji took a step back in surprise and watched as the stew stirred itself. By the sink was a pile of dry dishes, her aura picked up each plate, fork and knife and they all levitated at once and went into their respective cabinet. Once the dishes were away she lifted the spoon out of the pot and set it on the counter, her aura faded back into her body. Tadaaa..." she smiled awkwardly.

Luffy, Nami and Sanji were dumbfounded. "THATS SO COOL! LIFT ME LIFT ME!!" Luffy cried as he jumped up and down from his seat. Sanji picked up the spoon that was just floating before him and examined it, as if it was some magic trick. "Unbelievable.." he muttered. "Y/N you can totally use that power of yours to haul all my treasure back to the ship. It would make is so much easier then having these slowpokes do it." Nami chuckled softly. "Well I haven't tried lifting people in a long time, it never worked before. I could maybe lift a child an inch off the ground. I'll probably just have to practice more. I'm just used to moving around small things." Y/N shrugged and took a sip of her tea.

"We'll help you get stronger!" Luffy shouted with his signature wide grin. Sanji and Nami smiled and nodded in agreement. But this sentimental moment was cut short when the cabin of the ship became to sway violently. "What's going on out there you guys!?" Nami cried as she tried to hold onto the table. Luffy sprung to action and Sanji ran after him. Y/N followed after Nami, trying hard not to fall over with the currents that were shaking the Merry. Above deck was a disaster. Wind was whipping harshly, the sky was black and thunder rumbled above them.

"You guys, why didn't you warn me about the storm?! Didn't you not bother looking up?!" Nami yelled but the sound of the winds muffled her voice slightly. "It came out of no where, we had no time to react! I've never seen a storm like this!" Zoro replied as he tried to tie up the mast. "Usopp keep her steady! We can't get off close, we're so close!" Nami called up to Usopp who's hands were trying to keep the wheel steady. "IM TRYING ITS TOO STRONG!" He said in a panicked cry. Sanji helped Zoro maintain the sails and secure the deck. Nami ran up to help Usopp hold the ship steady, the current was making it hard to control. Luffy sling shot himself up to the crows nest to see if there was any break in the weather ahead. "Dammit! This is bad..."

The Merry continued to rock harshly as it battled the waves. It knocked Y/N around but she clinged onto the railing for safety. She felt useless. She wasn't sure how she could help. She doesn't know anything about storms or ships. She glances over at Nami and Usopp who together, were still struggling to take control of the ship. Y/N ran up there, fighting the wind. "Let me help!" She called out. She focused her energy on the helm, it suddenly was surrounded in the purple aura. Y/N used all her strength to steady the helm. Nami and Usopp backed off. "That's it Y/N! Keep it just like that. We'll reach the break in the storm soon!" Nami said with encouragement. Y/N's head was pounding, the wind and rain made it difficult for her to focus but she had to do this for her new friends. The pressure in her head grew and grew and so did the size of the aura around the helm. It was not budging and she had full control.

"Clear skies straight ahead!" Called Luffy from up top. He jumped down from the crows nest and stood at the bow of the ship. "Just a little bit longer, Y/N" Usopp said as he patted her shoulder. Not long after Y/N could feel the sun on her skin. She slowly released her hold on the helm and stumbled backwards. She held her head and groaned. "Ow...damn that hurt." Her head was still pounding. "That was amazing Y/N I guess that power is stronger then you thought!" Nami glanced over at her with a smile but it faded quickly. "Y/N your nose is bleeding! Are you okay?" Nami grabbed onto her shoulders to steady her. The commotion caught the attention of Luffy, Usopp, Zoro and Sanji. "I'm fine. I just think I over did it a bit." Y/N replied as she wiped the blood from her nose. "We're out of the clear now, what's next?" Y/N attempted to change the subject. The crew scowled a bit and glanced amongst themselves. "You need to take a break, Y/N. We got it from here. We don't need you hurting yourself." Zoro stated as he crossed his arms. "Zoro's right, as your captain I'm ordering you to go relax." Luffy shot Y/N a cheesy grin. "I'll go make you a warm drink~<3" Sanji cooed as he tip toed away.

Nami helped Y/N balance as they walked down into the main deck. Nami sat her down at a small table. Sanji promptly walked out with two mugs of coffee, one for Y/N and one for Nami. Y/N's hands were still shaking, but her headache was slowly fading. She took a sip of the coffee and let out a sign. "Thank you Sanji." Y/N ram her fingers through her damp H/C hair. Her clothes were soaked and seeped into her skin. But she didn't mind too much. It kept her grounded in the moment.

"Uh...Nami?" Usopp stuttered, he stood at the bow with his finger extended. "W-what's that?" This remark caused everyone to turn their heads. Nami got up and headed to the bow. "We're here... the entrance to the grand line..Reverse Mountain..."
