Tsunami x Riptide (Ripnami)

Part 1

Tsunami was walking on the beach. She spotted Riptide, and flashed her scales. He flew over to her.

She asked, "Why are you here? Aren't you supposed to be in the ocean?"

He answered sadly, "Queen Coral has thrown me out." He studied her for a moment and continued. "Can I... can I come with you?"

Tsunami froze and stammered, "Um, I'll have to asked Glory."

"Still sour that you're not queen but she is?" Riptide teased. Tsunami nodded, rolling her eyes. "Alright, I'll stay here. You go ask her."

"I hope she lets you in," Tsunami said. And with that, Tsunami flew away to the rainforest.

As Tsunami walked through the rainforest, she thought, It is so unfair that she's queen and I'm not. I'm supposed to be the queen and Glory's supposed to be just a RainWing. The waterfall water is splattering into the lake; the toucans were calling each other; everything is normal.

She finally reached where Glory was: with Deathbringer. Glory's scales was a pale pink color; the color of love, joy, happiness, and embarrassment. This pink is for love, joy and happiness, she realized. She really does like Deathbringer.

"Queen Glory?" Tsunami called. Glory looked up, and more pink spread onto her scales. For embarrassment, Tsunami thought.

"What do you want?" the queen of the RainWings asked. Deathbringer scooted a little away.

"I was visiting Riptide," Tsunami admitted. "Mother has thrown him out. He was asking... he was asking if he could come here." She winced, expecting Glory to say no.

"Of course! Let him come in. Bring him here," Glory said, then with a sly smile, she added, "I knew that if I said no, your heart would be broken."

Tsunami whacked Glory. Glory dodged, and Deathbringer said sternly, "Hey! No hitting the queen!"

"Yeah, no hitting the queen," Queen Glory agreed, sticking out her tongue at Tsunami. "No hitting the queen ever again."

"Whatever. I'm getting Riptide." And with that, Tsunami flew off toward the direction of the beach and sea.

Tsunami flew over Mud Kingdom and over an expanse of water. She spotted sand and scanned the beach. She lit up her scales and asked where. She made sure her scales was at full light. A small spark of light answered her. Riptide! She dove at the spot and tackled him.

"Did the queen say yes?" Riptide asked anxiously, staring up at her eyes. Tsunami thought of Glory's tease. "Tsunami?"

"Oh, uh, yes, she did," Tsunami stammered. She stared back at him and shuffled her feet nervously.

"Fantastic," Riptide said. "Come on, we can go there and do another Aquatic lesson." Tsunami smiled and lit up her tail. 'Squid-brain.' Riptide grinned. "Come on! We can fly together!" he added.

They flew across the sea and the scavenger den together. Tsunami had a big longing feeling to be with him, together. Well I can't admit that to Glory, Tsunami thought. Or she'll just tease me like before.

They finally arrived at the rainforest. Tsunami went to tell Queen Glory that she is back and Riptide is here.

"Glory," Tsunami said, but was quickly interrupted by Glory's bodyguard and love: Deathbringer.

"Call her Your Majesty, Tsunami," Deathbringer told her. "She's not just a citizen of the RainWings, she's their queen." Glory shot Deathbringer a look of thanks, then to Tsunami. She slyly smiled at her.
