Chapter 9 depression

ALMIRAS POV

Our smiles faded as we saw chopper with a scared look, as he came sprinting down screaming and hiding behind my leg.

"What's wrong chopper?" I asked, kneeling down to his eye level. He was shaking like a little dog with no fur, in the middle of the snow.

"S-s-someth-things w-wrong with L-L-Luffy." He stammered. I got up and walked into the office, with everyone els. And what I saw, well......it wasn't the most weirdest things I've seen in my life, but it's in the top tens. Luffy was chained up to the bed, and was attempting to get free, by wiggling and trying to slide out. He looked angry as he did so. I tried not to laugh as I walked up to him, but as I did, he gave me a glare. It reminded me of my first adoptive dad. The eyes looked narrow, like an insane persons eyes would look like. His frown was more like an upside down snicker. And you could feel all of the hate in his glare too. I backed away and accidentally ran into chopper, who immediately hid, the wrong way, behind my leg. I could faintly hear Luffy growl, as he stared at me. I finally got the courage and walked up slowly toward him, with a smile on my face, but it soon faded as I could now clearly hear him growl. I looked at chopper with....a look that was mixed with confusion, fear, sadness, and a what-the-heck-kind-of-trick-are-you-pulling-on-me-now look. He stuttered a little but managed to answer.

"H-he's been l-like th-this sense he-he woke up-p." I saw the faces of the crew. Nami,Usopp, and chopper were scared out of their pants, Zoro, Sanji, Robin, and Franky looked concerned and scared, and........don't even ask me what Brook was doing. I turned back to Luffy and asked softly,

"What are you trying to do, Luffy?" He stopped growling and screamed,

"I HAVE TO GO FIND ACE!!!! HES ALIVE I KNOW IT!!!!!HELP ME GET OUT OF THESE CHAINS!!!!." He squirmed to try to get free, but nothing happened. I was dumb-folded. Hasn't ace been dead, for about two years? I walked over to him and sat on the edge of the bed. He stopped and glared at me. I didn't want to break his heart again but, it has to be done.

"You know he's dead. So why-" he yelled in my face.

"NO HE ISNT DEAD I KNOW IT!!! I HAVE TO FIND HIM!!! UNTIE ME AND ILL PROVE YOU WRONG!!!" This made me tear up but then I got confused. Cand he use his devil fruit powers? When I touched the cold chains, it answered my question. All of my energy gave out and it made me black out for about a second before I whipped my hand away. Sea prism stone. I turned to Chopper, how could he be afraid of him????

"Chopper, why did you tie him up with sea prism chains?" A chill was sent down his spine before he could answer. He stuttered a few times but he finally said,

"That's not Luffy."
