Chapter 14 A new day, a 'new' island, an old friend

LUFFYS POV!!!~~~~~~~

I woke up to the sunshine blaring in my eyes. 'Grrrrrr five more minutes sun!' I mentally yelled. I tried to move but I felt something on my arm, and my arms around it. Oh yah, I forgot that Almira slept with me last night. 'I hope Sanji doesn't find out.' I looked at her face that was about an inch away from my chest. She looked so peaceful, calm, and cute. I could hear her light breathing, and I could see the movement in her eyes as if she were looking at something in her dreams. Her body was small enough for her to be my small body pillow. Our legs were intertwined with each others, and she had her hands at her chest. I leaned in and brought her a little closer so I could place my chin on her head. This lasted for a little until I smelled food. I shot up and started to jump on the bed.

"Al! Al! Al! Get up I can smell food!!" I yelled. She mumbled something before covering her small body in the sheets. I laughed at this. "Aren't you hungry!?" I yelled. She shuffled a little before poking her head out. She showed her beautiful smile as she stretched.

"Morrnin' Luffy." She sounded tired. I grabbed her hand and bolted out the door. As we approached the kitchen I heard Nami start to yell...again.

"ISLAND DEAD AHEAD!!" YES!!! This day is awesome! I saw Almira smile a huge smile as we both ran up front to my special caption spot to see the island.

ALMIRAS POV!!!~~~

I knelt down on the Sunnys head next to Luffy, who's eyes shined with happiness. The island was covered in a beautiful coat of snow, which reflected a beautiful color rainbow as the sunlight bounced off of it. I saw a small town next to the docks. I remember this island! This was my favorite! I had a friend on this island, she was my first and only friend I ever had until I met the straw hats. She was very nice to me and the first at that, other than my real parents of course. I guess I do miss her, and I feel bad for leaving her, but I had to get the-.

"Almira common!!!! There's food in the kitchen!!" Luffy jumped up, grabbed my wrist and bolted for the kitchen. I didn't bother to get up so I was dragged on the floor all the way there. He swing open the kitchen door and ran to his seat, and I was still on the floor. Surprisingly everyone was awake, and they were giving me....a look. I got up, smiled and sat down next to Luffy, who was drooling over the food Sanji was making. I giggled. I got up and went to find a cloth. I went into the cupboards and grabbed a worn out faded red cloth and went back to Luffy, and started to clean the table, were Luffys drool was. Zoro, Usopp, Franky and Nami gave me weird looks but I didn't care. But the glare Zoro gave me made me shutter inside. Actually, now that I notice....it was really quiet, too quiet. No one was laughing, smiling, or even talking. They all sat in silence, waiting for their food. I stopped cleaning and stood up straight.

"Everyone, I'm very sorry if I lost your trust, scared you, or giving you grief. I'm truly sorry for what I did, I shouldn't have agreed to tell you your fears. I knew that you wouldn't trust me any more and I under stand. I won't ask for anything of you, but I only ask for forgiveness." I bowed at them. I saw in the corner of my eye that Sanji wasn't cooking, he looked at me with a concerned face. Luffy stopped drooling and looked at me. Nami got up and hugged me.

"You don't need to apologies Al. And we couldn't stay mad at you forever, your too cute." She said and gave me a bone crushing hug.

"Yo ho ho ho, she's right you know, no one can stay mad at you forever, your too nice. And I recall, that you made a deal with all of us that you'll do anything we tell you to do for a hole week, am I mistaken?" Brook asked. Nami let go of me and punched Brook on the skull.

"She j-"

"No it's ok Nami, I made the deal, and you can't break them." I smiled. "And your right Brook, I did promise that. Do you want me to do something." He got up and ran over to me, and Sanji joined.

"Can you show me your panties?" He asked. I laughed, and Sanji started to get a small nose bleed just thinking of it.

"You know I can do more....but ok, if that's what you want" I grabbed the right side of my boot cut light blue jeans and pulled them down a little, showing my red with white outlining underwear. The two looked at it for a moment then got a huge nose bleed. The crew laughed including me. I pulled my jeans back up and grabbed the plates that Sanji made. With beautiful food on them I gave everyone a plate, except for Brook and Sanji, who were still in la la land. It didn't take them long to finish but when they did, I grabbed their plates and put them in the sink.

"Common guys, let's go see the new island!" Nami said as we all ran out, after Sanji and Brook recovered. We got out side and HOLY CRAP WAS IT COLD!!! Luffy, Usopp, Brook, Nami and I ran right back in. The rest were just standing there.

"Why did it get cold all of a sudden?" Zoro asked, as Robin shivered.

"Yah, it feels like my home town~" chopper smiled as he started to randomly dance.

"Hey Al," Nami started. I looked at her and hummed "do you by any chance know some type of animal that is warm, or fuzzy to keep us warm, so we can her our jackets in our room?" She asked.

"NO NEED TO FEAR! THE DRAGON IS HERE!!" I did a heroic pose. They looked at me. I laughed and transformed into a dragon, and the neck was long. The scales were red until it hit the stomach, were it was a orange, yellow color that blended in so well. It's long tail had a weird kite shape thing at the end, that was a maroon color, and the claws were the same. The horns were the same color too but it had a more reddish color at the bottom to start, but soon blended in with the maroon. The top of my big wings were red, than the bottom was that orange, yellow color. Luffy, Usopp, and chopper had stars in there eyes.

"COOL!!!" The trio said at the same time. I smiled and noticed that Nami was impressed too, but not as much. My white fangs were noticeable when I smiled wider.

"Watch this!" I said in excitement. I popped my head out the door and when I did, my scales flipped over and turned a beautiful shade of white. The stars in the trios eyes grew bigger. I pulled my head back in and the scales flipped over again and it was the original color it was before.

"Do it again, do it again!!" Luffy jumped up and down. I shook my head no. "But whyyyyyyyyyyy?" He whined.

"Because we have to get to the island." He pouted. I lowered my head and told them to get on.

"How are all of us going to fit?" Usopp asked as Luffy jumped on. I smiled and stepped out side, all the way. My scales flipped over to the white, and the parts that were orange, yellow and maroon were now a light grey and the maroon was a darkish grey.

"Luffy, things might get uncomfortable." I said. He looked down at me as I started to grow. I grew and grew until My body was about the size of the grassy deck. And I'm surprised the sunny didn't sink.

"WOOOHH AL THIS IS AWESOME!!!!" Luffy started to bounce. I smiled as I lowered my head so the others could get on.

"Can we get our jackets! I'm freezing out here!" Nami said as she shivered.

"Nope" I replied. When they all got on, except for poor Franky who had to dock the sunny, I spread my wings and flew up. The sight was amazing. The snow on the mountains, and the ice on the edges. I saw my breath, it went up in the sky, becoming free. When I saw a tavern near the docks, I dove down into a clearing. My paws hit the snow and sunk down. I started to walk and my paws left paw prints in the glistening snow.

"When are we going to get down?" Usopp said as I felt him lean closer to my neck. I laughed as I started to transform and everyone fell into the snow.

"Now" they sprung up and begun to shiver, and I started to shiver too. We had a race into the tavern and when we got in there, everyone stopped and ran. We ignored it cuz we're pirates. Everyone sat down, and I sniffed out the food, which was in a fridge in the back. I got all of the food I could get and threw it on the table. And we all had a mini war.

"Oh I know! Luffy!, you me, usopp, and Chopper will have a eating contest!" This peaked the trios interest. Nami and Robin sat at the table next to us and so did Brook, and Franky who just got here. Then there was Sanji and Zoro...........who were fighting, again.
