There the half-blood dragon taking his break time from his work on the 'Hope and Adventure Loving Inn'. As he was still thinking about his former father (yk da White Lunatic Radish) of all the things he had done to him from his trauma and getting him forcing to eat or do anything that lunatic says.
Cale saw the half-dragon who was sitting under the huge trunk tree and went slowly beside him.
{A/N: too tired to put the whole word for that poor guy ☹️}
"what are you thinking right now?..." Cale ask while the half-dragon flinched from not noticing the red guy who gave him a chance to live.
He stared at the sky for silence then answered "I.. Do you think that fathe- no that guy ever really see me as precious as how you look at that black dragon-nim?" Cale look at him as if understanding the feeling he receive from that radish "no.. How about I sing you a song instead of chatting about that bastard." The half-blood look puzzled at what the redhead said but just nodded.
"It's useless, don't do this" Cale sang as he look at the half-blood then shifted to the sky.
"It's hubris to try. He's ruthless, you knew this" continued singing as the half-blood remember about the time when the white star told him that he will be his father.
"I told you, didn't I? He's abusive, elusive The truth is, he lies" Everything scenario that had happened in his life starting from getting sold from his biological parent, then putting a dragon's heart near his own heart turning him into a 'man-made monster' to locking him up from a darkest cave with the WHITE CROWN and then eating tones of dragon's heart.
"I know you don't want to let go, And just like before I can see that you're sure You can change him but I know you won't" Cale look at him with an expression of a parent's pity their own child from their worst things.
"The devil doesn't bargain He'll only break your heart again" He sang as his hand went to pat the half-blood's head and the other children (On, Hong and Raon) who saw this quickly went near them.
"It isn't worth it, darling, He's never gonna change, He'll never be Prince Charming, He'll only do you harm again" Raon hugged the half-blood who was stunned at what happened as the two kitties cling on him as well to comfort him.
"I don't mean to meddle, But the devil doesn't settle. No, the devil doesn't bargain Mm-mm-mm-mm" Cale look at his kid- I mean HIS precious Wards that he had been taking care of and smiled at the scene that the children didn't even notice.

"I'm not one to lecture, Talk down to a friend I don't mean to pressure Mean to condescend" He remember how that bastard do everything when he didn't want to but he still did it to get a praise or compliment from this 'father'.
"But I just want what's best for You in the end" He look at the dark-haired boy in a longing expression.
"I know you don't want to let go And just like before I can see that you're sure You can change him but I know you won't" He smiled as he felt the warmness of the other kids hugging or sticking near him to show that now he has somebody else who will accept and gave affection to him.
"The devil doesn't bargain He'll only break your heart again. It isn't worth it, darling. He's never gonna change, He'll never be Prince Charming, He'll only do you harm again" The lyrics had repeated the same at the first chorus but to half-blood it's nice to hear it again as if to warn it to never ever think about that radish bastard and lived the way you are going to.
"Human's right, half-blood dragon. That Lunatic bastard won't touch you again" Raon proudly said to the half-blood "And we'll protect you if ever that white radish bastard come back!" the red kitty, Hong, happily said it as her Noona nodded in agreement.
"I don't mean to meddle But the devil doesn't settle, No, the devil doesn't bargain Mm-mm-mm-mm Devil doesn't bargain Mm-mm-mm-mm And I know you think He'll change this time But I think that you will find" Then Cale getting up from the ground he sat while holding out his hand towards to the half-blood.
"Shall we go now? The others are waiting for us in the Inn." he look at the place where the others who just waved at them to come then look at the children beside and smiled.
The children were too stunned to speak about their father-..guardian's smile and then they just smile as if it was a secret to their other family.

They quickly go back tot the Inn while giggling a lot as their father was so clueless to 'why were they giggling a lot or maybe it's just kids thing' Cale just ignore them as he sat on his sit.
