St.Patrick's Day drinking

A/N: Okay Jamkoers and Eddie/Kara friendship lovers if you aren't out drinking tonight, then I hope you are at least reading my story. Thanks to my beta MellyHorror-Salvatore-Northman for the edits.

Eddie and Kara were out drinking on St. Patrick's Day and they were having a blast. They were sharing stories about their partners at work. Kara was talking about the food joint Regetti had found them last week on lunch. Eddie said she was going to drag Jamie there tomorrow. They were just getting to the part of Eddie's story where Jamie slipped in a puddle the other day when it had rained when Jamie walked up to their table with a drink and plunked himself down.

The girls were too busy laughing to notice right away. When Jamie cleared his throat and said "What's so funny ladies?" they froze and stop laughing.

Eddie looked at her partner and tried to play innocent. She burst out laughing again. "Seriously what's so funny?" Jamie asked again.

"You are apparently, puddle butt." Kara replied with a giggle.

"Eddie you told her?!? You promised you wouldn't tell anyone." Jamie said.

"Well it was too funny not to tell at least Kara. And she laughed so hard with me. Relax Jam she won't tell anyone." Eddie replied.

"Please Kara if the other guys find out they would never let live it down." Jamie pleaded.

"Relax Jamie who would I tell? Between you and Eddie and my partner Regetti no one else talks to me at the precinct." Kara replied.

"Eddie is my best friend in that awful place and the only reason I won't transfer is because she got Regetti to partner up with me and we have been working out great" Kara finished.

"I had no idea Eddie did that" Jamie said looking at Eddie with proud eyes.

"Well I don't always think about food, lambchop" Eddie replied.

Kara looked at the two and realized something more was going on but decided to let it play out to confirm her suspicions. "Would anyone like another beer?" Kara asked.

Jamie slid Kara some money and said "Two more please Kara."

Kara got up to get them all another beer. While she was gone Jamie and Eddie started talking about tour today and started getting real close. By the time Kara was back with their drinks they were full on flirting.

"Okay guys here are our drinks" Kara said.

"Thanks Kara." Jamie and Eddie replied at the same time while turning to look at her.

"So what did I miss?" Kara said curious.

"Ah not much actually." Jamie replied.

Jamie and Eddie turned back to each other and started flirting again. "You look so gorgeous tonight partner." Jamie said.

"You look handsome yourself partner." Eddie replied with a giggle.

Eddie started twirling a lock of her wavy hair and Kara knew she was right. They totally liked each other.

Jamie brushed a few strands of hair that had landed in Eddie's face out of the way and Eddie blushed. She reached out and touched his hand and said "Thanks Jam..."

"Ahem. I'm still here." Kara said in fake annoyance.

They both turned to Kara and blushed. Then they both got serious. "We're sorry Kara." Eddie said.

"We've been like this for a while in private. You can't tell anyone Kara or we could get in trouble. We are just trying to figure it all out." Jamie said.

"Again guys who would I tell... Your secret is safe with me." Kara replied.

They both sighed in relief and then finished their drinks and chatted with Kara some more. They thoroughly enjoyed their St. Patrick's Day out with Kara.
