First Kiss Becomes a Nightmare

Part 2 / The funeral

Sophia's p.o.v

I was sitting on my bed in very deep thought when suddenly I heard *knock*knock. I didn't want to talk to anyone but I slowly walked to the door and opened it.

When I saw who was at the door I was so happy to see him it was Connor.
"Connor".He reached his arms out and pulled me in for a hug ,I rested my head against his chest.

While we were hugging I couldn't hold myself back from crying "Connor they're gone their really gone". Connor started rubbing my back to try and calm me down he then started to whisper in my ear "shhhh Sophia shhh I'm here now your not alone".

Connor had finally got me to calm down and it was now time for Connor and I to go to the viewing which I really didn't want to go to but Connor thought it would be a good idea for us to go so we can say our final good byes.
Connor reached out for my hand and I grabbed his hand and he hugged me once more . We then both got in Connors truck and drove to the funeral home

*5mins later

We had finally got to the funeral home and I was bracing myself for what was about. Connor grabbed my hand and we both walked in together .

Connor's p.o.v

Me and Sophia had just arrived to the funeral home , I had hold of soph's hand as we walked to the front desk . At the desk there was a young lady in about her 20's she was a brunette she suddenly looked up at us and spoke
"May I help you " .

I then quickly replied "We're the children of Mr and Mrs Franta .The lady gave us a sad look " oh right this way and I'm sorry for your loss ", I tried to give the girl smile but I couldn't all I could do was say thank you .

The lady led us down a long hall way and we came to a room that had "Mr and Mrs Franta". I slightly bit my lip bracing self for what was coming . The lady opened the door and let us walk in and shut the door behind us to give us some time alone with our parents.

Sophia slowly let go of my hand and ran over to our parents and she dropped herself over them and she started bawling . I walked over to her to try and comfort her but when I got to her I saw my parents faces and it hit me this was actually happening my parents were gone...........

Sophia's p.o.v

I had myself draped over my parents corpse's i had tears running down my face. Suddenly I heard sobbing coming from behind I lifted my head up to see Connor on his knees crying . I lifted myself off the coffins and walked over to Connor and crouched down beside him and placed my head on his .

When Connor realised I was there he embraced me into a hug " I think it's time for us to go Sophia ". I just slowly nodded to him and walked over to the coffins and said my final goodbyes" good bye mum goodbye dad ".

I then put my head down in silence, Connor then came behind me and wrapped his arm around me and quietly said " it's time to go" , I nodded and slowly walked away in the embrace of my brother . I didn't want to look back all I knew was that this was the last time I would never see my parents in the flesh again.

THE WAKE( after the funeral )

Sophia's p.o.v

I had a really hard time at the funeral seeing other people cry makes makes me wanna cry even harder I couldn't stay for the whole funeral it was to upsetting for me so I sat outside waiting .

The ride to the wake was very quite the only thing that was said was by Connor asking was I ok , I didn't want to speak so I just nodded at Connor.

When we arrived at the wake I didn't want to speak to anyone so I just sat in the corner of the room playing with the napkin . Every now and again people would come up to me and giving their gratitude and respects all I did was smile and hug each of them.

2 hours later *

I didn't want to stay any longer so I looked around for Connor I couldn't find him anywhere. After about 10minutes I had found him talking to our grandmother or more like arguing I couldn't hear what they were saying so I moved closer . I then heard Connor " why can't she ,she is my family to".

G : I don't care she is not going

I then realised they must be talking about I also then got really curious what they were talking about. They then started whispering ,after they had finished Connor had a big smile on his face.

When I knew they were finished I walked beside Connor and whispered in his ear that I wanted to go he smiled and nodded .

At home*

Connor's p.o.v

I was so happy and excited because I had come to reasoning with my grandmother to let soph to come stay with me and the boys in Cali . Because I wanted to keep my promise to my parents they asked me if anything happened to them to take care of her.

As soon as we got home Sophia went straight to her room with out a word . I left her for couple of minutes and then went up to her room to give her the news.

Sophia's p.o.v

I was laying on my just hugging one of my stuffed toys when I heard a nock at the door . Then came in Connor with a huge grin on his face. I sat up to listen to what he had to say .

C:" I know this might be to early to ask but would you like to come to California to live with me.

When he asked me a gigantic smile came upon my face I then jumped up of my bed and raced over to Connor to give him a big hug.

C: I will take that as a yes then he giggled"

I nodded and giggled back "of course I would"

C : well start packing we leave tomorrow "

This was perfect moving to California would be a fresh start and I would be able to get my mind off what has happened,I grabbed my bag and packed all my clothes and make up and things I would need.

I had finished packing so I sat on my bed and watched TV until I fell into s deep deep sleep.
