Part 9 - Finally back in Monaco

Y/n: "Fly back?"

Charles: "Yes. You NEED to see a doctor asap"

Y/n: "How about driving back?"

Charles: "It's 5h"

Y/n: "I hate flying and you too"

Charles: "You know me to well... yeah let's just drive back"

Arthur: "thanks Charles! Hope there is nothing, Y/n."

Y/n: "hope so to!!"

You and Charles drove away.

A little while later, you were at 2h drive away from Monaco. You just overthink everything that happened and wanted to talk with Charles about it.

Y/n: "Hey, Charles.."

Charles: "Yea?! What's up?"

Y/n: "What if I messed up everything and made the wrong choices in life?"

Charles: "No! No choice of you is wrong!"

Y/n: "Yea, right. What if Dad would be still living... He wouldn't be happy about my choices..."

Charles: "Don't think that! He would be proud of you!"

Y/n: "Why? I achieved nothing in life! I kissed or some random dude kissed me today. I fell down the stairs. Atlas fucked me up. Railed me. Did so much to me and I still didn't broke up with him... Jules is gone. Dad is gone. My horse is gone. My love for riding is gone. I-"

Charles: "Hey! Hey! Hey! Stop!! Don't do this to yourself!"

Y/n: "What?!"

Charles: "Don't do this. You are such a strong woman. The strongest I know! You can do anything you want! And yeah, you've been through such hard things but we are here for you. Look! We are DRIVING to Monaco in a Ferrari. Not everyone can do this"

Y/n: "But you drive not me. You've won such many GP's. You drive for fucking Ferrari und Formula 1. You! YOU! Achieved so much. Not me..."

Charles: "You won the Monaco GP's in LGCT! Not everyone can do this on such a Horse like yours. You are still on earth!"

Y/n: "wow... that's not much..."

Charles: "Y/n Pascale Leclerc! Do not say that! That's so much! You been through hell! And you're still here! That's better than my achievements"

Y/n: "Yeah... Whatever."

You put your AirPods on and listened to your fav music.

Your phone started ringing

Y/n: "Marie?!"

Marie: "Hey girl! I have some
great news!
I'll be in Monaco tomorrow!"

Y/n: "what?! Why?!"

Marie: "My flight got cancelled
so I booked a new one..
for tomorrow!"

Y/n: "Great! I'll see you
tomorrow than!"

You wanted to hang up but than you and Marie talked for 1h. You needed to hang up because you arrived in Monaco... at the Hospital

Charles put you in a wheelchair. So you don't have to put pressure on your knee. You got scanned and checked up.

After a while the Doctor came with the diagnose.

Dr: "Miss Leclerc. We have a diagnose"

Charles: "Finally. What is it?"

Dr: "It's a torn knee ligament... on the inner band."

Y/n: "NO! not now..."

Dr: "I'm sorry for you. You become a knee brace for 2 months and if it's not getting better, we need to operate it. The nurse will do the rest."

Charles: "Thank you."

The nurse put the brace on and a bandage with a cooling gel. After 15min. you and Charles drove home. Charles texted your mother what happened.

Y/n: "All that before my Birthday and the Grand Prix"

Charles: "It can happen!"

Y/n: "But not the best timing. I wanted to travel the world on my 18th Birthday. Marie, Charlotte and I planed evreything."

Charles: "You and Charlotte?!"

Y/n: "YES! Of course she comes with me when her Semester is over and she has holidays. Marie just has summer holidays and sometimes on the important hildays free time."

Charles: "What is with your school?"

Y/n: "I only have this month school and than I have finished my exam and have my diploma. I can than have a year off and start University in 2024 or 2025. I have planned everything"

Charles: "Did you talk to Mom?"

Y/n: "Yes... kinda. But she can't do anything about it! I have my own money and I'm soon 18"

Charles: "My little sister... You remind me really of Jules. You could be Jules twin!!"

Y/n: "Jules... I miss him."
