The Trickster

I had always dreaded coming back to my place of birth, Mystic Falls, where I became a Tribrid, vampire, werewolf and ghost, also the place I ran away from my family. I had mainly spent most of my undead life in the UK to avoid my family but a witch told me that I was needed here, so Mystic Falls I'm back. I walked into a place called the Mystic Grill, what a creative name, not.

As walk in everyone turned and stared at me, I looked like a 14 year old but in reality I'm 1524 years old, walking up to the bar I was met by a teenager, "Hi, welcome to the Mystic Grill, I'm Matt, what can I get you?" The boy -Matt- Hummed as he kept looking over to a table behind me, "Hey Matt, can I get a lemonade and some fries." I said as I gave him the money and he went to get it, at this point I took the liberty to look behind me to see who he was looking at, it was another table to teenagers, "They are planning on daggering one of your brother's." Samuel, my best friend who happens to be a ghost said to me, to which I gave a snide nod which nobody noticed.

Matt brought over my food and drink to me, "Thank you." I said as I started to eat as I heard the door open and the table start to whisper, whoever it was walked over to the bar and stood next to me, "It's your brothers." Sam said as I lowered my head so the wouldn't recognise me, which seemed to work, I carefully listened to their conversation as I carried on eating.

Matt walked back over to me, he must of sensed I was uncomfortable around my brothers, "Hey kid, want to join me and my friends at a game of pool?" He asked as I ate the last fry on my plate and nodded, I followed him over to the pool table where the was another guy, "Hi I'm Tyler." The guy introduced himself, "Hey I'm Rogue." I said with a smile, as they set up the pool table, "Do you want to play Rogue?" Matt asked grabbing a pool cube. "No, thank you, I'll rather watch." I said as I sat down and noticed Kol walking over.

Luckily enough Kol didn't recognise me as he was being dragged out the building by two people probably with a dagger in his heart but the kept that covered from me, "I better get going." I said as I got up and walk out the way they took Kol before Matt or Tyler could protest, "Hi I think I'm a bit lost." I said as another man looked at me, "Get out of here kid, before you get hurt, this is a dangerous man." The man with dark hair said, as Klaus appeared and took the dagger out of Kol, the Elijah appeared and took one look at me and in a second a look of recognition came over his features.

"After this trick you guys played I think Rebekah will be happy to start her work early." Lijah said as he looked at the other people there, "You said we had until 10." The raven haired man said as Elijah flash in front of me, "Well you shouldn't of played that trick then." "Niklaus look who decided to join us." Elijah said grabbing hold of me before I could run, Nik took one look at me and flashed before me as well, so I decided to act dumb, "W-who are you?" I said in confusion, "Enough, you are coming with us before you can run away again." Nik said with a hint of anger in his voice, "Leave the kid alone." A man said as Lijah and Nik looked at him, "This isn't no kid, are you Rogue." Nik said, as Matt and Tyler run outside to join us, hearing my name come out of Nik's mouth probably made them come, "How do you know him?" Tyler asked, "Why don't you tell them Rogue." Elijah said with a stern voice.

"NO." I shouted making myself invisible so I could faze through them which worked and made the others confused as I ran away at human speed they weren't ready to know not yet.

After I was sure my brothers weren't following me, I stopped running, that's when a car stopped in front of me with Matt, Tyler and another guy that was there, "Jump in, we will take you somewhere safe." The man said as I got in and we drove to a mansion.

Walking in I noticed how everyone that was apart of the group to dagger Kol where there, "So how do the Mikaelson's know you and what are you?" The raven haired man said, "Sorry about Damon, he forgot his manners, my name is Alaric." Alaric said as Damon had a scold appear on his features, "I'm a ghost." I said leaving out the part that I'm also a vampire and werewolf, "But how can we all see you?" A man said, "Stefan! We can ask questions later, we have to keep him from the Mikaelson's first, Hi I'm Caroline." Caroline hummed, putting a hand on my shoulder, "It's fine I don't mind answering questions, I don't know why you guys can see me, I was born a ghost, and why the Mikaelson's want me? It's because I ran away from the them when they just turned into vampires." I said as everyone looked shocked, "So your the same age as them?" Damon asked as I nodded in shame.

"Why did you run away?" Caroline asked me as I looked up, "I didn't want to be a monster like them." I said with a slight smile, "Buddy what's your full name? we won't judge you." Alaric said as I sighed, "Rogue Mischief Mikaelson." I said looking down not wanting to see their reactions, "I'll understand if you don't want me here anymore." I turned to start walking out the door, "No stay Rogue stay." Stefan shouted as I walked out the door and closed it.
