Thin clouds crawled across the surface of the bright sky, (Y/N) sitting anxiously beneath it.
It wasn't just (Y/N) doing this same movement but the whole of 104th Cadet Corps.

Results day had finally arrived and everyone needed to know what they'd got.

(Y/N) watched the stage as if a hawk and didn't look back for a second. If she wanted to get onto the Scout Regiment she'd have to prove herself to be the best amongst the best.

Standing composed tightly on the stage stood the proud, yet stern looking Keith Shadis.
He was speaking with as much power and confidence as my first day.

Although nervous, (Y/N) couldn't help but get excited at the thought of life outside the walls. Her mother was a strict person who cared deeply for her children. She never let (Y/N) and Liz leave Shiganshina even under her own supervision. Yet this only came with the question, what was so dangerous outside the walls that her own mother terrified her with tales from the outside world enough to make sleeping a struggle.

" In 4th place comes a trainee, exceptional in hand to hand combat. Annie Leonhart! "

'That was no surprise' (Y/N) thought to herself, her leg bouncing up and down restlessly against the stone floor.

(Y/N) had figured something off about Annie and the other two guys that barely left her side but it was perhaps just a grudge she had against her for winning that fight.

Though (Y/N) didn't exactly hate her. In fact (Y/N) respected and liked Annie for her persistence in keeping a cold attitude to those around her. Even those who showed her kindness.

While lost in thoughts, she must have been staring for a bit too long now because her gaze caught the attention of Annie. She simply glared back towards (Y/N), snapping her out of it.

" 2nd place, goes to an individual who has dedicated themselves to their training throughout the years of their training.
Mikasa Ackerman! "

(Y/N)s head shot up, clearly confused on how such a skilled individual placed 2nd. What does that mean for (Y/N)?

" And last but most certainly not least comes a cadet who poured their heart and soul into training. With accuracy and incredible strength comes (Y/N) (L/N) in first place! "

Everyone had gone to their places, and now (Y/N) was called she was expected to do the same.

She stood up with uniform and walked to her place, avoiding the eye contact of any onlookers.
She was certainly good at training. But social situations.. not so much.

(Y/N) got ahead of everyone and was stood at the top of the northern wall in Trost, unpacking large crates while waiting for her Comrades to help out.

The sky was no darker than earlier, soft thin clouds slowly slicing through the sky as (Y/N) stood under them.

" (Y/N)! Congratulations! " Ymir said happily, walking over with her hand positioned around Krista's shoulder comfortingly.

"Cheers" (Y/N) said quietly, still working on unpacking these crates while getting lost in her thoughts.

Both Ymir and Krista began helping out unpack as others began to arrive such as Connie, Jean, Eren, Mikasa and Armin.
