Elves and the tree God

"Hey... Hey buddy you awake?" Said a voice. I didn't know where I was nor who's voice that was. My head pounded with pain and my shoulder stung too. I opened my eyes to see some guy in my face trying to get my attention.
"Who are you, and where am I?" I asked the guy.
"The names Liam, and you're in a Elf village stuck in a cage with me and the guy over there." He pointed towards the guy shivering in the corner then pointed to the elves outside the bamboo cage. There were elves walking around the place and two of them guarded the cage that I was in. "Hey!" A voice boomed, "why are you looking at me". It was one of the Elven guards. "No reason just looking around" I reply. "Yeah sure you are you creep" she response angrily. I tried to avoid looking at her again. I stood up and went to the bamboo bars to have a better look around. When I looked around I saw a bunch of huts made out of bamboo and hay. But what stood out the most was a giant tree that almost covered the entire village from above. Before I could look around some more an arrow came flying towards me and hit one of the bamboo bars that I was holding. "Your supposed to guarding these prisoners not giving them a sightseeing holiday" Began a voice. It was a woman who had blonde hair and some form of dress that was made out of grass and some leaves tightly woven together. She seemed familiar but I couldn't remember who she was. When she started to move away from the cage she looked at me funny.

A couple hours past and I was still in the cage with crazy guy and Liam. There was something going on near the foot of the giant tree, all the elves starting to accumulate there. "Looks like they're getting ready for the ceremony" said one of the elves. "What ceremony?" I ask. When I asked that they kinda smiled."One that your all involved in" she stated. One that I'm involved in, what does that mean. Suddenly the guy who was shivering in the corner before broke into some kind of rage. He started cursing at them and pushing at the cage. "Stop that human" yelled the Elf. Not only was he in some kind of rage but the bamboo was starting to crack. "Sta-stay back" she murmured. She was starting to get scared of him and back up from the cage. Finally with a big crash, the cage broke to pieces. With the cage broken I could just run and try to escape but I already new that would be futile considering how fast and efficient they got me last time, so I just sat down and waited. However Liam as soon as the cage had broken he bolted for the trees and was out of sight within seconds. "AHHHHHH" screamed an elf. Both of the elves were on the floor in fear of the crazy dude, he had disarmed them and pointed the spear at the girls. "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Bellowed the guy as he thrusted the spear at the girls. As the spear was about to hit the girls I stepped in and grabbed the spear and stop it with my hands. "The f*** are you doing" bubbled the man as foam poured from his mouth. "Saving someone" I claimed, as I said that I broke the spear in two and pined him to the ground. "Get the hell off me you piece of shit" he screamed. I looked up at the two elves and they were sitting in shock of what I did or the fact they almost got stabbed. Before to long the other elves were surrounding me and the guy I had pinned. "Where's the other one" said a voice. Someone stepped out from the group of elves. When I looked at her I instantly remembered who she was. It was the elf that was in the cage. She look at me with a blank expression then said "tie them up again the ceremony is about to start but bring the brown hair one to my hut I need to talk to him". They grabbed me and the crazy one then I was brought to a hut and placed on my knees in front a big throne made out wood and red roses. "You got yourself into a precarious situation haven't you?" Asked the woman. Now having a better look at the woman, she looked older then me but not that old somewhere in her early twenties. "Aren't you going to say something" she ask. "Um, who are you" I replied. "I am the dark queen of illusions and spells, I am Cinder" she exclaims. "Who?" I question "never mind, who are you then" she asks. "I am Leonardo, but you can call me Leo" I answer politely. She stares at me for a little then reaches down to where my necklace was. "Where did you get this?" She wondered. Before she could grab it I jerked my head back. "I got it from my mother when I was just a baby, what's it to you" I interrupted. She stood up and stepped away from me "hold him down" she said. Suddenly two of the elves grabbed me and put me against the ground forcefully. "That necklace shall belong to me now, the only way you shall get it back is after the ceremony, after that your free to have it and leave" she announced whiles she ripped off my amulet. I tried to get it back but my hands were tied and two elves were holding me down. "What ceremony!" I yell. "You'll find out soon" she replies with a smirk. Then both of the elves stood me up on my feet and walked me out of the hut through the curtains. They lead me to the middle of the village where the big trees trunk was. I then was placed next to the crazy guy from before and Liam. "Far out they caught me, son of a b****" he mumbles. The crazy guy was staring at me with a very evil intent. "Today, we start the ceremony testing these humans souls and see if they are worthy of keeping it. Shall we begin?" She states. Suddenly they stand all of us up on our legs and they bring the crazy guy to the one of the Giant roots sticking out of the ground. "Let go of me" he spurts as they unbind one of his hands. Suddenly the root that was sticking out of the ground started to move by itself, getting closer to the crazy guy. Once it got in touching reach of the guy it started to clench onto it arm and borrowed into it. The elves then backed off from the man then kneeled before the tree, they made us kneel to.
I minute past and we were still kneeling, we started hearing the guy screaming in pain and he was trying to pull out the roots that were still borrowed inside of him. But then he just stopped, and he was changing. Leaves started to grow out of his head and his limbs were turning into branches. After a minute had past there was no more crazy guy, just a tree, a standard tree that was moving towards the forest very slowly.
"HE WAS NOT WORTHY TO STAY IN THAT FORM!" announced Cinder. They all cheered saying "WAS NOT WORTHY!". "Bring the brown haired one" asserted Cinder. They grabbed me and brought me to where the last guy was kneeling. While this was happening I was thinking to myself
"I got to do this to get my pendent back". They grab my hand and extend it out, the same root that grabbed the crazy guy before reached out and rapped itself around my hand, digging underneath my skin like a needles. It was painful, but I dealt with it so I could get my necklace back. Suddenly, everywhere was white, I was in some sort of white room, And couldn't see the floor but I felt it, I hear a voice echo across the room. "Well, haven't had one of you guys in a millennium" the voice echoed loudly through the open space I was in.
"Who's there?" I say in response to the voice to the voice.
