I was walking down the road to my village with a bundle of hay on my shoulder. When I got to the front of my village I heard someone yell "Hey Leo over here". It was my friend Sai, he works as a guard for the village and he is posted at the front. "You bringing that hay to granny pole?" he asks. "Yeah she asked me to get it, you know how she is, she's 83 years old. Someone has to help her out" I reply. "Yeah". There was an awkward silence for about 5 seconds until Sai broke it. "So... when are you leaving the village?" he asks with a depressed look. I give a sigh before answering "Look Sai, you've been saying that all week and saying it over and over again isn't going to make me stay any longer" I responded with a serious face. "I know man, but why do you have to go I mean... is being here boring or something" he added. "No no no of course not, it's just that.... there is a whole world to explore out there and I what to explore it. And being here isn't helping that". I reply with a apologizing voice "Well I'am going to miss you bud" he clenches his fist and holds it out, I do the same and we fist bump. I was about to start walking again but I felt his hand tap me on the shoulder. I look back at him and he points at something.

It was a carriage with three capital soldiers on it and a caged storage unit in the back. "I'am just going to take a guess but, you think elves are in that storage unit, and if so is that the filth one to go through the town?" he exclaimed. He looks at me waiting for an answer. I didn't answer, I was more curious about who was in the unit. As I looked closer I could see that the guards were armed to the teeth. One of them looked tough with heavy armor. The others two had light armor with no helmet and one machine-gun each. "Isn't that a bit much for one prisoner!" yells Sai. They just straight up ignored him, but he was right, there was only one prisoner. It was an elf, she was wearing a dark purple dress with black strips at the bottom and top of the dress. She had dark beautiful hair and was wearing a amulet that looked like mine except my was bright green and hers was dark purple. She looked at me for a while, but she wasn't looking at me she was looking at the amulet around my neck. Unlike most humans, I and some of the people in the village don't mind Elves. So being the nice guy I am I break part of my loaf of bread and sneakily put it in her cage. She was still focused on me for a while, but eventually she grabbed the bread and tilted her head forward to show that she is thankful and began to eat it. During the time when the carriage was leaving, I got into a conversation with Sai for a while and then began to walk to Granny Pole's place. When I got there I saw Granny Pole sitting on her rocking chair on her porch. "Ohhh Leo, you're such a good boy bringing my hay to my house" she grabs my cheek really tightly and slightly shakes it around. "No problem Miss Pole it wasn't that hard to do anyway, and besides I still have to say goodbye to you" I answer her. "Oh that's right, your leaving today aren't you?" she asks. "Yes, today is when I leave so I have to say goodbye to everyone before I go" I explained. She began to hug me tightly, she normally hugs tight but she was squeezing a bit to tight. She may be old but Granny Pole was once a magnificent swordsmen who wielded a Great-sword. So she is very strong for her age. "I hope you have a good time on your adventure Leo and be a good boy while your away" she replied with a smile. I  nodded and started to walk out the gate but then miss Pole yelled out saying "Kroc was looking for you before, he wants to talk to you about something". I say "thank you" to her and start to walk to where kroc normally is. Kroc is the boss of the guards in the Town Of The Trees and is the best when it comes to weapons. He to fight they are close combat weapons. He can fight with swords, lances, katanas and even daggers. But the best weapon he is good at, is battle axces. He can cut through a tree with one swing of he's axe and thats pretty good for his age, I mean he is 45 years old and he can still do that, you got to give the guy credit. Well anyways I had just arrived at the barricks where Kroc normally stay's in. I knock on the door and say "hello kroc, you in there". I hear nothing, I open the door and see a wooden room with one desk with pencils, pens and some sheets of paper and it was facing the left wall. Its a bit weird because he is normally in here either training with the straw dummys or writing something. Then I noticed a note on the table that had something written on it. I walk over to it to read it. I picked it up and it said "time for training" and then I was like "ohhhh shit". Suddenly I hear a creak in the raffters, I look up to notice a giant boot about to hit me in the face. I roll out of the way just in time, I look back to see Kroc and his giant boot stuck in the floor. Kroc is a very bulk man, he normally where's pants that have green and brown splotches on it. And he wheres a piece of armor that justs covers his torso. "Surprise, how was that for a surprise training session?" he said while laughing. "Kinder predictable, after I read the note I new it was time" I replied. "Well that sucks.... doesn't matter now though. This is your last time training with us anyways" he say's in return. "Wait, us?" I ask. As I say that I hear something swing behind my head. I duck down and as I do I feel the wind of something past just over my head. When it reaches the other side of my head and stops I turn around to see sai standing there with a wooden pole in his right hand. I give him a stare saying "you're an ass" he knows what I am saying and just giggles. "It's not just me and kroc" he say's. As he finishes his sentence I hear someone land right next to me, right where kroc keeps all his weapons and armor pieces. I turn to see who it is but all I could see is a helbard tip heading striaght for me. It could have just periced right through me if I hadn't step on the shield on the floor, catched it in mid air and block the tip of the helbard just in time. When I did block the tip of the helbard with the wooden shield I was pushed back right through the wall of the shack and landed on one of the dummies outside. "You know, your a very lucky man Leo. You always manage to block or dodge my attacks." said a voice inside the shack. I look up and see Reb walking out of the giant holl in the shack that she made. Reb also known as Rebeka is a very skill fighter, she is very good at using helbards. She is also the second strongest person in the soldier ranks and has beautiful red hair. "That it so..... true and I'm gratful for it" I say with a smile. After I had finished my sentence Kroc and Sai came out of the shack through the holl. "Dammit Reb, I just cleaned my office" yelled Kroc. "Well just clean it again it's not that hard" replied Reb. While they were talking to each other I just bolted two where my sword was which was always in a tree next to the training grounds. "Guys he's getting away" blurted Sai. When Sai said that I had three people chasing me to the training grounds. To get to the training grounds you need go through the town past granny pol and make a left at the first turn and thats the training grounds. So I had to run all the way there with three people chasing me and it was not fun at all.

I finally arrived at the training grounds with Sai right on my tail. "Give me a break will ya" I yelled while running after my sword. "Nope" he replies with a smile. I couldn't see reb or kroc behind sai at all, I know they are up to something. I continue running after my sword which I could see,but that wasn't the only thing I could see. Right next to the tree with my sword in it was, there was something emerging out of the bushes. It was big, big enough for the top of its head to touch the roof of my house. When I was meters from it about to grab my sword. It lunged at me, I step to the side to dodge it. But it just nicked me on the hip. I then reached for my sword and grab it. When I grabbed it I instantly swang behind myself and hit the thing that lunged out of the bushes. But when I hit it I heard metal clashing. Then I realised that what hit, was Kroc. 'How did you get here so fast' I ask while panting. 'Me and Reb took the short cut' he said bluntly. 'There's a short cut!' Yelled sai and I. I was just about to back off until Reb had her helbard to my throat. "You didn't last very long did you" said Reb. "Well it's hard to fight when you run for like fifteen minutes straight with no stops" I replied. "Why didn't you grab a weapon that was in the barracks, I mean it's called a barracks for a reason" countered Reb. "I know but this is my sword and I will use my sword" I declared. "Even if it costs you your life" she replied instantly. "depends on the situation" I coughed. After all of that we all walked back to the barracks. "Jesus Reb you could've hold back a little I mean, look at this hole you made, how in the hell am I going to fix it" he said frustratedly. "Spit, grip and a lot of dame nails" joked Reb. We all laughed except Kroc "anyway besides the hole I'm guessing you came here to say goodbye, hey Leo" asked Kroc. "Yep I did, needed to say goodbye to everyone before I left don't I" I said. When I said that Reb got up and squeezing to death. "Im going miss you and all of are sparring matches when your gone" cried Reb. "Yep I will miss you and the sparring matches as well, also Reb can you let go a bit your gonna make my rib cage explode" I croaked. When she finally let go I hit Sai on the shoulder then gave him a hug. I then turn to Kroc who was standing beside me."It still feels like yesterday that when I found you inside of that log all curled up and cozy.... And loud" confirmed Kroc. "Yeah I know, you never did find out who's child I belonged to, did you" I replied. "No and I'm sorry for that" sighed Kroc "Kroc it does not matter if you found them or not what matters is the family I have now" I answered back. Kroc then handed me my sword and a bunch of things in a leather bag with a strap on it to hold it from. "Thanks" I say as he passes it to me. We then begin to hug each other, I started to think about the past; like when Kroc tried to teach me how to swing a sword, he got a good hair cut that day, or when I meet Reb, that day was not a good day, she almost killed me that day all because I walked into her room without knocking first... That day I learned something. ALWAYS. knock. on. her. door. first. I was actually starting to cry about then but I couldn't, last time I'm gong to see them. When me and Kroc let go we all walked to the front walk way of the village and I said my last goodbyes to them all and set off on my first adventure to the capital city called Delic.

It had been at three hours since I left the village. The village was no longer in sight, the road was peaceful birds chirping, little animals running around. That was until I saw smoke rising above the hill left of where of the road was next to some trees. Running to the scene quickly to where the smoke was rising I saw a cart that was on fire to the side of the road. looking around to see if anybody was there, but there was no one besides the horses standing next to the cart. I went to untie the horses reins but then realising that these were the horses that were pulling the cart that went through the village with the elf and guards. "Hello" I yelled out, waiting to see if someone would reply but no one answer. So with not knowing who did this I put out the fire and undid the horses reins but before I could look around again a giant stinging pain in my shoulder. I grabbed my shoulder to see what happened, an arrow was shot in my shoulder. When realising this I immediately broke the sharpe end of the arrow and pulled it out of my shoulder. I was about to turn around to see who did it, but my vision went blurry and it was hard to stand up on my feet. And the last thing that I saw before passing out was a girl around my age with blonde hair, then I was out like a light.
