If the law must be followed, why do people keep on violating it?

A question keep on repeating all over in my brain. Ever since I entered law school, a lot of questions are entering my brain. If there is no law, demon people, corruption, etc. Is the world going to be peaceful or not?

The world is full of mysteries like you've ever imagined, or more than your imagination.

"Ms. Le Fuerve, do you agree with this client statement?" The professor asked.

I stood up and analyzed the question. The question wasn't hard at all but you must know you have to encounter a pilosopo professor while you're answering, they're going to mix up your answer and make you confuse. After my answer turned into a debate, I finally sit down and listened to my professor.

"That was amazing! You totally nailed it." Ezra said from behind.

Ezra is my friend in law school, we were friends since 1st year. So technically, we are already proceeding to the third year of hell. Ezra is nice, he is always there for me when I need someone, but sometimes he is too possessive, which I do not like.

I'm soon-to-be a Corporate Attorney, and he is a soon-to-be Criminal Attorney.

Siya pa ata mas mauuna maging criminal, eh.

Some subjects are done we have a last subject which is Public International Law. Some of my block mates hate that subject, but for me, I don't hate it I just find it difficult. So while waiting, I just read some readings to freshen up my mind, para naman hindi ako mukhang tanga sa recitation.

Tangina second semester to pahirap sa buhay, joke.

Dumating na professor namin kaya everyone kept their notes and listened.

When I got out of school, umuulan pala. I didn't bring an umbrella with me, how can I go home?! I really need to go home and finished my readings, this is so frustrating! I just sigh and waited the rain to stop.

Someone tapped my shoulder when I looked who is it, it was Ezra. He was holding an umbrella, gagawin ko diyan? Sasaksakin koba sa tagiliran niya?

"Tara na, alam ko iniisip mo. 'Wag mo 'ko saksakin sa tagiliran." He opened the umbrella kaya sumabay nalang ako.

"Are you cold?" Asked by Ezra, "No," Tipid kong sagot. He just agreed and opened the door for me.

"Sabay ka nalang sakin mahirap mag commute. Para safe kana." He shortly said

I just changed the topic, "Can I choose a song?" I asked him. He nodded and gave me access to his radio, touch screen naman kaya madali. I chose Save your Tears by The Weekend dahil wala ako mapili na iba.

"Hi, girl!" Sigaw niya from the line

"Hello! No need to scream, Stace." I said calmly

"Sorry na excite lang ako! Free ka ba sa weekend? Bar tayo sa Bgc, hanap tayo pogi."

"Sige, Xylo tayo sa Saturday. Tapusin ko lang readings ko para hindi kana maurat sakin may binabasa ako." I let out a soft laugh

"Okay, g! 8 pm ang call time, wear contact lens. Bye!" Binabaan ako bigla ng call, bastos may sasabihin sana ako, eh.

I didn't mind Ezra but when I looked at him he is mad. He is grinning, what happened to this dude? He suddenly stopped the car at the side of the road. "What are you thinking!? You're going to Xylo this Saturday. Are you out of your mind!?"

"Like yeah, I'm with Stacy! It's not like makikipag laplapan ako." pababala kong sumagot.

"It's dangerous there! You're not going." He held my chin to face him.

"Fuck off," I removed his hand and fixed my things. I don't care anymore if it's raining. Tatakbo nalang ako pauwi.

"And Where do you think you're going? You're not going anywhere." He holds my arm

When his manipulation is starting right now, I chose to play along. It was fun seeing him like this when I already know what he is doing. I'm not affected, sino ba siya para maging affected ako?

"You are not my boyfriend. Whether you like it or not, I'm going with Stacy. You can't stop me from going anymore because this is not your life, it is my life. So would you mind letting go of my arm and letting me go home by myself?" I laugh sarcastically.

"I will beat you in every recitation starting tomorrow." He turned red

"Oh, please, even if you threaten me I will still beat you in every class. Adios! Such a waste of time." I went out of the car and slam the door in his face, leaving him mad. Good thing there was a taxi I won't make myself hardly wet under the rain. While riding the taxi, I just thought of something and that is:

You can't fool me, Mr.  Hilton. You're just a friend of mine and your possessiveness won't work on me. Kesa matuwa ako, naiinis ako.
