Chapter Five - Beautiful

Chapter Five
Crystal's POV

Philip, Raven, "Daniel" (as I just figured out his name), and I hopped into Phil's truck, against Raven's protests of being squished. Philip had a bunch of crud in the passenger seat and he said he wasn't allowed to touch it, so we all had to sit in the back.

"OW!" I yelped. "Rave, you kicked me!"

She grunted tried to shift more, making her rub against Daniel which I don't think she minded.

She sat in the middle, ALSO against her wishes, and Dan and I had window seats.

Eventually, Raven got to a somewhat comfortable position and she snapped at Philip to drive. Dan and I snickered as Phil started to drive.

We walked in and Raven immediately locked arms with Dan.

"Okay shopping helper," she said. Dan groaned but she continued. "You're gunna carry all my bags for me. Now, c'mon, let's go shoppin'!"

Then they went off and turned a corner so I couldn't see them anymore.

I felt an arm drape around my shoulders. "So, where to, love?"

I grinned up at him and walked to the closest clothes store. I headed for the woman's section and Phil decide he'd rather stay behind. I just laughed and continued.

I skimmed through some of the jeans and looked at the sizes. They only had medium, large or Extra large. I huffed and looked at myself in the closest mirror, but suddenly looked away, feeling self-conscious. Then I felt warm arms wrap around my waist.

"You're beautiful." Philip said.

I smiled and leaned into him. "Whatever floats your boat." Then I furrowed my eye brows. "Why are you in here?"

"Uh-" he pulled back and I turned to look at him.

He scratched the back of his neck. "You were, um, taking a long time so I came to check on you."

My wolf scoffed. I rolled my eyes. "Lies." I poked his chest. "Tell me."

He chuckled and wrapped my his hand around my small one. "Ok..two trespassers are in this territory. We've been informed that they're dangerous. Being a Gamma I was one of the first to be informed. I want to protect you."

I sighed. "I'm fine, Phil. What are the chances that two random people would come after little ol' me."

"Because you're beautiful, you're my mate, and you're the Alpha's daughter. That could be used for leverage against our pack."

I blushed and looked away. I bit my lip and continued looking through jeans.

"You're cute when you blush, too." He laughed.

I blushed harder and playfully pushed his arm. He grabbed my arm and pulled me close, crashing his lips onto mine. His tongue ran against my bottom lip and I gladly opened for him.

"Get a room!"

I yelped into the kiss and pulled away. My face was probably the same shade as a tomato. Raven and Daniel were looking at us. Dan had a raised eye-brow and Raven was giving Philip the evil eye.

"C'mon." Raven eventually said. "We're going to the food court. I be hungry!"

She turned around and Daniel chuckled before following her.

I giggled and linked my arm with Philip. "Oh well, I'll get some jeans later." He chuckled and kissed my cheek.

And with that we made our way to the food court.
