We reached out to some of our favorite teachers to get the scoop on what they eat, how often they practice yoga and what other types of exercise they enjoy.

Here's what they had to say:

"I wake up around 6am and start my day with a cup of warm lemon water. I then do some light stretching or a few sun salutations to get my body moving. I'll have breakfast (usually eggs, toast and avocado) and then head to my first yoga class of the day.

I teach 3-4 classes per day, with a break in between each one for some food and water. I generally eat pretty healthy - lots of fruits, vegetables, lean protein and whole grains - but I also allow myself the occasional treat (because life is too short not to!).

After my last class of the day, I'll do some more stretching or yoga at home. I might go for a run or do another type of workout if I'm feeling energized, but usually I just stick to yoga. I wind down for the night with some relaxation techniques (like reading or taking a bath) and try to be in bed by 10pm."
