What's that thing they say, that gets you in trouble, ah! thinking out loud. I've had that awful habit since I could remember and it wasn't making things any better for me. It was my first day at the art institute and I'd already yelled to the most loved, influential and richest guy on campus that he was a rude, standoffish and that his crooked nose matched his personality. I would have said more, but the chancellor, who he personally called dad, arrived to start the welcome session. Well you could guess the embarrassed blush that painted my ghosted face, ha! That only last a few seconds though, because as soon as I refocused onto the pigs face, the urge to smack that moronic smirk off his face increased ten fold. It was a plain truth, Daniel Fae irritated me and he knew it.

I made a 180 to my assigned seat, next to my dork of a best friend Krish. Krish and I are those diaper friends you hear about, you know the ones that have known each other way to long. If I remember clearly, he'd pull Amy Ali's curls on the first day of kindergarten an she pushed him in the drain.

"Here!" I said, as he took my extended hand. " Let's get you cleaned up, you dork", I grinned.

" I'm Annsuya, and you are ?", "Name's Krish and you are weird, but I like that." he said, as I handed him a damp wash cloth.

Speech after speech, went by and every time I looked in Daniel's direction, his eyes would shift to the bleached blond babe sitting to my left. I could feel his beady eyes, burning holes in the back of my white cotton romper. I, myself felt like staring, only he'd probably bleed to death from all the daggers I'd be sending his way.

You're probably wondering what got me so coiled up. Well, here goes! After my long flight and car ride to the institute, I was almost late to the opening welcome come ceremony. Admit-tingly I got lost. That's when I spotted our Mr. Fae, with his hands in his pocket whistling without a care. I ran up to him, puffing, " Could you, could you?" and before I finished, "I could, but I won't. Find someone who cares."

It was my first day and it was going badly, luckily Krish had just stepped out of the lecture hall and flagged me to his location. However, being so caught up in my thankfulness to Krish, I regret-tingly bumped in Fae and found myself covered in hot coffee.

"Watch it duff! you're in my way." I rolled my eyes. "Bite me! you turd."

"Gladly," he grinned as he bent down and stole a kiss, gently nibbling on my bottom lip.

"Get off me you disgusting pig, who do you think you are, huh?"

"Daniel, " he smirked, " And you are?"

"No one that'll ever be interested in a crooked nose, self-important jerk, like you." I shot at him.

He seemed shocked at my response and would have replied, if chancellor Fae, his dad, did not request us to take our seats. He turned to Daniel, saying, "see me after the ceremony."

"Yes dad," he choked.

It was as if words could poison, internally I cringed whilst if found my way to Krish.
