Chapter I

A/N: I don't own Genshin Impact or Trash of the Count's Family
This is an au where Cale reincarnated as Childe because why not and I haven't seen this au yet.

When Cale opened his eyes, he cursed the God of Death.
' My slacker life! ' he thought, crying internally.

As years passed, his life was good. Not the best, but decent enough. He had a lot of siblings but he didn't mind it. Cale loved his family.
One day when he was fourteen he went to the woods, looking for pretty stones for his mother and sisters.

He went deep into the forest and was about to pick up some stones when he heard a growling sound. He slowly turned around and there were some kind of wolves he never saw. They were floating and pretty ugly (rift hounds). The wolves looked ready to attack him, so he did the most logical thing he could think of and ran. 
His thoughts were on cursing that damned god that always messed with his beloved slacker life.

After running for what felt like hours, he was out of breath. He quickly looked to see, if the wolves were still following him, but he didn't see anything.

Cale, or rather Ajax now realised he was lost.
"God damn it!" he muttered. Ajax really didn't like this situation. He went to the direction he thought he came from. Ajax didn't see much as it was starting to get dark, but he felt his legs slip and he fell.

A/N: this is a story that bothered me for some time now and decided to write it down. There will be a next chapter and that will be way longer. This is like an introduction chapter to the story.
