Next day I woke up early in the morning, after taking a shower I went out to see everyone asleep so I went out in the back garden. I sat down on the ground in front of the same pot which I failed at growing. I sat down and trued to grow it but it was a complete and utter fail. I groaned in frustration when I failed again and again.

"Don't give up, sweetheart" a voice came from behind me and I looked back to see my father stood in his glory. He looked too young to be my father maybe a few years older than me right now in his early thirties. They died too young! A feeling of sadness grow in my heart at the harshness of life, how unfair it was to them.

"I don't think I am the one!" I sighed looking down on the ground. He came towards me and give me his hand motioning me to stand up.

"Believe me you are the One!" He said with a proud smile.

"You are my daughter, a Whitlock blood is running in your veins. You are not ordinary, you are special" he said and I take his hand standing up.

"What powers you have?" I asked him.

"Well you have to see it" he said with a small smirk.

He stood a little away from me and gathered some woods and placed it in the middle. Then he looked up at me with a knowing smile.

"Are you ready?" He asked and I nodded looking at him with curiosity. Both mom and grandma have surprised me and I am sure it would be the same this time too.

"Let's go them" he raised his arm while closing his eyes,my gaze were on his hands that were moving in circle as of making a pattern and then fire lit up from the woods, it was too big and then the next moment he looked at me and moved his hand in a circle motioning towards me and then I was in the middle of circle of fire. It was a good distance away from me and I was in shock and amazed as I giggled lightly.

"Wow" I said and looked at him who was smirking proudly at me but then he grinned playfully.

"Want to see something else too?" He asked and I nodded happily like a child. He chuckled lightly at my reaction and then he moved his hand and the fire that was once around me washed away with the water that came out of nowhere and I looked at me wide eyes and wide mouth. He has two powers fire and water!

"Wow! That's cool" I said and jumped innhis arms praising him.

"Cooler than you mom and grandma?" He asked raising his eyebrow playfully, I giggles at him.

"Yes but don't tell them" I whipered with a smile.

"Ofcourse I will tell them, they should know how my daughter likes me more!" He said playfully.

"What is happening here?" Grandma voice came from behind me and as we looked in that direction both my mother and grandma were standing but it seemed they came just now.

"Dad was showing me his powers" I told them.

"And she thinks I am more cooler than you two" he said cockily and I gave him a look.

"Dad!" I whisperyelled at which he put his arm on my shoulder.

"Don't worry they won't say anything to you I will protect you from them" he whispered and we both laughed.

"Okay if you both father daughter are done shall we move to the next task" Grandma said but she was serious which makes me tense.

"What is it?" I asked her knowing something is not right.

"Faye sweetie, I am sorry but you don't have much time left." She said with sadness and the atmosphere turned gloomy.

"What did you see?" I asked her.

"War has started!" She said and I stilled. Cyrus and Atticus!

"You have to go back as soon as possible and you have to be more serious with your powers. They need you" she said and I felt and unsettling feeling in the pit of my stomach.

"You are right!" I said.

This time all three of them were gathered around me taking turns helping me in using my powers which seemed like a difficult task but there was a small moment where I was able to have grown a little stem from the seed but that was it. But it gave me a hope that I have powers and I have to take them out.

That was the moment I finally accepted who I am and that I have powers and those powers are not ordinary because I am not ordinary. A Whitlock is never an ordinary!
