This bean is NOT from WoF, he's a storm/lightning dragon (I'm working on an official species name) that exists in a book I'm writing (not on wattpad). Aaaaaand now I'm going to talk about him forever. Yay!! So basically he's a lightning dragon, meaning his scales can absorb electricity. His body isn't lightning proof, but his scales can deflect and conduct electricity to keep it from reaching his body. The gray scales conduct electricity (meaning it can travel along them) and the cyan patches store it. He can't produce/breathe lightning, but it he gets hit by a lightning bolt or something he can gather the power and keep it in his scales. Usual a dragon can only store lightning like this with a lot of concentration and/or practice, and only for a few days at most. Younger dragons can only hold a charge for a few hours, and are a lot shakier with their control. A dragon can choose when to discharge stored electricity, although when the dragon is charged it's not safe to touch them. They often live in hot areas with lots of storms, allowing them to recharge frequently. That's it for now, I'm sure I'll think up a lot more lore about them later. I haven't named this guy yet, so name ideas are welcome!! Bai.
