As of progress, tadashi had pulled out a guitar and another man was using pot to drum, that is use for entertainment. While that could cause unwanting attention, Chishiya wasn't to worried. They were far enough off the city that agunu and the militants wouldn't search them there for at least two more days. Niragi probably thought he'd hide in plain sight, which he admittedly had planned first. As it was this was fine for the time being.
And then his mood when straight down into the ground, when Arisu sat next to tadashi and asked him about his past life, eyes shining with wonder when the older man recounted tales of his job as an architect, or his hobby as a musician.
Tadashi had the audacity to put his arms around Arisu after handing him the guitar, under the guise of showing him how to hold it properly and a play a few chords. His face showed clearly what his true intentions were, though. And that agitated Chishiya.
He kept his face empressionless, though almost snapped the clip lighter he was playing with.
“You don't have to be jealous.” Kuina said, almost startling him when she appeared and sat down next to him on the grass. “Arisu's oblivious to the advances.”
That was... true. And Chishiya didn't really think Arisu was the type to cheat. While they hadn't talked about what this between them was, Chishiya was sure that Arisu saw it as some sort of romantic relationship. It had started back at the Beach, a few weeks after Usagi and Arisu had joined them. It was mostly a spur of the moment thing, he had made an effort to bond with him to keep him as an ally in his plans. Like Danma undoubtedly had, Chishiya knew Arisu was valuable.
Anyways, Arisu wasn't the type to fuck around with just anyone. Especially not when the one had taken his virginity. And Chishiya could admit to himself that that self-sacrificing scrawny kid had wormed his way deep enough into his heart that he himself wanted to keep this going.
They had kept it secret, only getting physical in one of their rooms, but both Kuina and Usagi had figured it out of course. Chishiya didn't care, but he didn't want Hatter or Niragi to get wind of it. Danma would use it to blackmail the usually nonchalant medical student. And Niragi... the pest wouldn't stop at anything if he could annoy Chishiya. And as long as he didn't kill Arisu, Danma wouldn't care what Niragi did to him.
“Doesn't mean Izuki won't try to take advantage of him.” He said lowly, eyes narrowing a fraction with how the too old guy whispered something in Arisu's ear that had the gamer giggling in that stupidly cute way, shoulders hunching slightly.
“As if Arisu would cheat on you.” Kuina rolled her eyes, but grinned. It was hilarious, to see the ever stoic man act like a jealous brat.
