Arisu handed back the guitar and smiled gratefully, before excusing himself. Chishiya was pleased to see him approaching, Izuki wearing a barely-there frown as he watched.

“I learned how to play the E minor chord.” The gamer opened with a proud grin as he crouched in front of the two. “He offered to show me some more, but I wanted to check in with you guys first. Do you like it here?”

Usagi was busy talking to another climber and the hunter, as animatedly as she hasn't seen her act in ages, so he was sure she was happy at the moment.

“It's peaceful.” Kuina grinned, glancing sideways at Chishiya, who studiously ignored her in favor of smiling at his, well, he'd call him boyfriend in his head.

He patted the grass next to him, prompting a surprised Arisu to take a seat in the offered space, cheeks turning rosy when Chishiya put an arm around him. He gave an unsure smile. “Everything okay?”

“'Course. Sit with me for a while.”

“Uhm, sure.” Arisu ducked his head. “But do you really want that? I mean-”

“We've escaped the Beach. There's no reason to hide here.” Chishiya said, using his free hand to brush the other's bangs back and pressing a kiss to his forehead.

Arisu's whole face lit up with glee and if he had a tail it would be wagging for sure. As it was, he smiled widely and snuggled closer, letting his head rest on Chishiya's shoulder.

The bleached-haired man couldn't help the smug triumphant smirk taking over his features at seeing Izuki observing them from across the fire, face dark. Kuina muffled a laugh by pretending to clear her throat at the exchange. “I'm gonna check on Usagi.” She managed to get out, but it was obvious how amused she was.

Arisu lifted his head with this adorably confused expression. “What's so funny?”

“Don't mind her. She's crazy.” Chishiya said, holding the other's gaze with his own. “It's getting colder, we should get inside to warm up under the covers.”

A tiny frown appeared on Arisu's face. “But it's warm by the fire. And it's not that late, I'm not tired yet.”

Oh God. “I didn't say anything about sleeping, did I?” Chishiya cupped his face and brushed a thumb over his lower lip, and finally catching on, Arisu blushed brightly.

“Oh.” He blinked, gulping, pupils slightly dilating. “Okay.”

Because he could see Izuki still staring from his peripheral vision, Chishiya leaned in to pull Arisu in a rather steamy kiss. When they pulled away, those cheeks were flushed darker, eyes half lidded and lips slightly swollen. He did that. And after tonight, he'd make sure nobody would doubt who Arisu belonged to anymore. Especially Izuki.

He got up and pulled Arisu with him, guiding him to their assigned trailer by a hand dangerously low on his back, unable to keep his smirk at bay at the burning glare he could feel in his own back and Kuina's laughter as she wolf-whistled at them.
