Beyond the forbidden woods

Chapter 1

It's 1942 and The Germans are in the middle of world war ll on the British city of London England young Avery was fast asleep in her bed when she suddenly woke up to the feeling of someone shaking her

Avery's pov:

I jolted up and looked at the clock it read 2:30 am I looked over at the man standing next to my bed "who are you and why are you in my house" I said scared and confused " your parents have been killed by the bombings you need to come with me" the man said " where are you taking me" I said when I got into there car " I'm taking you to the countryside there is an orphanage out there that is away from all the bombings" the man said "what is your name" I said with a small smile " I'm Edward Williams but people just call me Eddie what about you" he said returning the smile " I'm Avery dodge nice to meet you" I said back " I'm really sorry about your parents I heard they were good people" Eddie said "yeah the where the best thank you" I said with a sad smile "how old are you Avery" he said returning the smile once again
"I just turned 14 if you don't mind me asking how old are you" I said he looked at me kinda shocked I asked his age " no I don't mind you asking at all I'm 25" he said with a big smile " how long is this ride going to be" I asked "about 4 hours get some more rest it's still really early" he said "thanks goodnight Eddie" I said "goodnight Avery" he said back I laid my head down on the cold window and fell asleep almost immediately with the sound of fain instrumental music playing from the radio tomorrow is going to be a very busy day.
