Aftermath of the Poe cup (Kent)

Y/n's Pov

The Poe cup ended an hour ago but I still haven't seen Kent, we were supposed to go swimming after but he hasn't come to get me yet. Maybe he's already at the lake? I got off my bed and threw my jacket on grabbing my bag and making my way to the door. As i opened it I saw Kent leaning against the frame, hand raised to knock. I let out a small gasp as I saw his bloodied shirt and bruised face. I pulled him into my room and led him to the bathroom. He leaned against me tiredly, I sat him on the counter and grabbed the first aid kit. I stepped between his legs and lightly touched the bruise surrounding his eye. He winced and muttered a small " i'm okay." 

I moved closer and started to apply a healing ointment i'd made to his eye, he grabbed onto my waist and held on tightly. After finishing his eye, i slowly unbuttoned his shirt . I let out a small gasp as I saw the large cut that oozed blood. " Kent, Kent honey look at me, what happened?" His eyes avoided mine as he began to speak . " Bianca asked me to help her team win, while i was pushing the Black cats boat underwater some hand came and punched me, then as I started to lose conscious a sharp rock caught me." I lifted his chin to meet my eyes and gave him a small peck on the lips. " Baby i'm sorry but your gonna need stitches." He nodded and watched me thread the needle, as the first stitch went in his grip tightened around my waist. I gave him a reassuring smile and continued. When I had finished the stitches I wrapped gauze around the already stitched and disinfected wound. " I'm sorry we cant go swimming love " I heard Kent whisper, I straightened up and carefully hugged him. He rested his head in my neck and gave it a soft kiss. " Don't worry, i'm just glad your okay." I helped him down from the counter before giving him a pain pill and laying next to him in bed. He pulled me closer and slowly fell asleep with me stroking his hair. I gave him a kiss on the forehead and snuggled closer before falling asleep.
