Chapter Four: Exchanged Intimacy

Once again, that bright light wakes you from your sleep. You woke up a little faster than yesterday, because you were excited for the day. That being because you remembered telling the wanderer to meet you again, and he agreed to. You wanted desperately to see him again. Maybe today you would tell him how you feel. But would that be taking it too fast? I mean, you two met just a couple days ago, but you have gotten to know each other well. Maybe things might end up going well. Then it's decided, you were going to tell the wanderer how you felt.

When you told the wanderer you wanted to see him again, you never specified a time. So once you got ready, you just left immediately and if he wasn't there, you would just wait for him to show up. You started walking out of your house and once you get closer to the spot, as expected, he isn't there. Maybe you were just a little early. You waited for ten minutes and then, look who shows up.

"Hey Y/N. Sorry if you've been waiting for a while." The Wanderer greeted.

"It's no problem, I haven't been waiting here that long." You replied.

"Alright then, what do you want to do first?" He asked.

"Well..we could get breakfast?"

"Sure."

He didn't seem very amused about getting breakfast, and you noticed this. You also noticed something else. He was purposely avoiding eye contact with you and he looked a bit troubled. Did something happen? Was it because of you? You ignored it for now, he was probably just tired. It was early in the morning anyway. You two walked to a place to get food, sat down, and ate.

"Sooo....did something happen?" You said awkwardly.

"What? What gave you the idea that something happened?"

The wanderer replied awfully quickly to what you asked. Making it seem even more obvious that something happened and it was bugging him.

"Well you just seemed a bit...off?"

"Off? In what way?" He asked, with a nervous look on his face.

"Well...you look nervous and more shy than usual. Is something bothering you?"

"No, I'm fine. Just...tired. Why do you care anyway? You seem to care about me sooo much. You must really like me huh?~" He replied, teasingly.

"Bold of you to assume. Maybe I do. Maybe I don't. I'll leave that to you to figure out."

The wanderer looked a bit shocked by this response, and also a bit flustered. He brushed it off quickly though, not wanting that to be noticeable.

You two ate and laughed together, and once you two were done, you left and sat down at a nearby bench. It was nearly afternoon now. You didn't know what to do now. Until the Wanderer made a suggestion.

"How about we go exploring together? You know, in the forest. I know some good spots." The Wanderer suggested.

The forest, huh? You hadn't been in the forest before. You heard it was pretty large and had lots of pretty cool animals.

"Why not! Sounds fun. I've never been in the forest before, so I'll just follow your lead."

And with that said, you two walk into the forest. After a while, you realize you have no idea where you are and hours have passed since you entered the lush forest. You almost start to get worried until the wanderer starts running somewhere and try desperately to catch up with him. Once you do, you're out of breath, but when you look out into the breathtaking view off of the cliff that he lead you to, it was all suddenly so worth it.
