What comes next ?

Kat was getting her things around and changed into her jeans and boots taking some pain meds and grabbed her phone. She needed to take her meds at 3:30 and it was noon right now. Her foot was still bugging her a bunch, but Serena couldn't drive yet, her mom was MIA, so her mom was a no, and Justin she doesn't want to drag him into anything more than she had to
. They just had gotten on a good track, and she didn't want to ruin it. she decided to just lie down for a few minutes but that turned into 4 hours. She woke when she heard pounding at her door. Kat groans as she gives up putting her sweater on, she hadn't been biting in over a month, but she felt embarrassed about it still.
She went to open the door having a bedhead, her hair was stiff from all the hairspray. Kat opened the door, having her contacts out, having her big thick glasses on. She spoke and looked "sup," she said, Justin perfect Justin with not a hair out of place looked at Her "Sup? What the hell, kat? Why haven't you answered your phone? I thought you died, "he said, clearly stressed about it.
Kat looked letting him in and flopped back into the covers groaning tiredly. "I was asleep dude!" She said trying to go back to bed, but Justin would not be having that. He pulled her close and feels her head "how's the ankle? Do I need to take you to get more lithium? I ran into Leah I heard what happened "
Kat looked at him "yeah is it illegal to cut her with my skate? Or Tonya it's and take a bat to her knee "she said joking. Justin chuckled baking his head "yes Kat that is illegal I'm not letting you do that. You rest I'll go get your meds "he started rubbing her back as she cuddles into him
"I'll come with you, "she said and went to get up and put her leggings on and shoes back on yawning. She felt Justin's arms wrap around her and kissed her softly "okay, I'm proud of you I hope you know that. We won this with you still trying to get back into your meds "he said rubbing her back.
Kat smiled softly wrapping her arms around his neck " I know I'm sorry I stopped taking my meds ..." she was going to go on, but Justin had stopped her shaking his head
"No stop, do not blame yourself, okay? I know now you were struggling since your accident, but I love you for you, okay? I'm not going anywhere and if you bend a beak, you will get a break, okay? Just don't stop taking your meds. I can't go thru another episode of where I don't know if you are okay or not "he said trying not to cry and rubs her cheek before grabbing her hand and going to his car to start the drive back. Kat had fallen asleep on the drive and Justin would look over every once in a while, smiling to himself. He was going to marry this girl one day, he knew it.
Kat ended up getting her meds and took them, she was stressed but it would pass soon. After walking back to the car and getting in she turned to Justin" did you see the Covid numbers are up? You think they will shut things down?" She asked him.
Justin shrugged "well if they do I will just have you stay with me so I'm able to see you, "he said holding her hand. Kat rolled her eyes, chuckling "yeah, I'm a bad roommate though, I snore "she said. Justin smiled "oh I know you snore "after he said that Kat punched him in his arm rolling her eyes again.
Justin started to drive on the highway and hours later they arrived at the hotel. He got out holding her hand. He walked into the hotel to get her bag, so she won't have to carry it. Kat had canceled her room and decided to stay with Justin but before going to their room she went to check on Serena and saw a text saying they went home. Kat texted her back telling her to be safe and call if she would need anything.
Kat took a bath and relaxed, closing her eyes and hearing the door open and it was Justin. She smiled, feeling him get in the tub behind her, and rubbed her shoulder as Kat laid back on to him. Justin wrapped his arms around her and rubbed her knuckles, he was so in love with her that it didn't matter what he did, he would still love her for her.
" How's the ankle? Is it sore still?" he asked softly. Kat sighed "yeah, it's sore I'll probably get it looked at when we get back into town. I don't think I broke anything, but you never know, "she said as Justin kissed her shoulder. She smiled and faced him getting on his lap before kissing him softly
Justin kissed her neck as he ran his hands down her back, he was not the type of guy who fell in love or let alone do sex in places other than his bed but here he was with Kat making her feel all the feelings any girl would dream of.
Kat moaned softly as he kissed down her neck grinding on him as she gasped. She could feel his every move as he thrust into her inner locking their fingers together. Later on, they made their way to the bed he had his mouth on the crook of her neck as he held her hands on the mattress. For the first time, Justin was enjoying sex. As he slid his mouth onto hers again, he moved his hands down her body as Kat moaned "Don't stop "she arched her back looking up at him as he went faster into her. This just wanted sex, it was lovemaking. He loved Kat more than anything and flaws and all made her the person she is today.
Not that he didn't enjoy it, but with Kat, she wasn't some one-night stand, Kat was the love of his life, his partner, and most of all his soulmate. When they first had sex over a year ago, he didn't know Kat was off her meds but here at this moment, he knew she was. If you asked him 6 months ago what would happen, he would tell you it was just sex, but now it was him being the man that Kat would need. He was the grown adult who got his shit together.
He would always make sure she was on her meds. After he lay next to her rubbing her hand as they lazily made out with each other. Kat smiled playing with his hair
"Hi" she spoke, and he smiled "hi," he said kissing her softly "are you hungry? we can order takeout if you're up to it," he said. Kat nodded looking "yeah, I could go for some pizza "she stated as Justin got dressed. He got his coat on and kissed her softly before leaving to get the food.
As Justin drove, he thought more and more about what kat said earlier about the covid numbers rising, he didn't follow a lot of what the media. Mainly because he was a topic of interest in the skating world. He started to skate at the age of 3 thanks to his mother. But when he was 11 his mom never showed up to his competition. She was struck by a drunk driver and died on the scene. By the time Mandy his stepmom married their father he was 16 and had already grown up. But his twin brothers Reid and Drew were just 6 when they met Mandy. Mandy was a special kind of special. She took no shit from him or his father James. But Mandy now had a little girl of her own to love and Justin was so happy for her. He had a little sister whom he would be able to meet soon. Kat would be able to meet Chole, his baby sister.
It had been 2 months since Kat had her episode that changed everything. Kat was now doing well and went to therapy Monday and Friday. Kat had also met Chloe and loved getting to hold the baby. Kat was watching her with Justin while Mandy and James were on a date. Kat always loved babies and that would never change. She always wanted to be a mom someday and find the perfect man to raise babies with.
Kat was rocking Chloe to sleep after giving her a bottle and burping her. Kat rubbed the baby's back as she yawned, staring up at kat. Kat smiled while watching and began to talk to her
"You know you have the best big brothers in the world who are obsessed with skating. I'm sure you will be a little figure skater and not a hockey player. You have a bunch of people in your corner though. Your mom is a badass who takes nothing from no one, your dad is fantastic and has his own company, your big brothers Reid and Drew are on their way to the NHL, and Your biggest brother Justin just secured his spot in the Olympics. That's a whole big family to live up to but I think you will fit in just fine.
Kat put Chloe in the bassinet in her nursery and closed the door quietly and walked to the living room and climbed onto Justin's lap laying her head on him as he was watching TV. It had been 2 months since they moved in together, they shared a little 3-bedroom house near the lodge where they both skated. Being qualified for the Olympics had brought in quite a lot of money and Kat had eventually quit her job at the lodge waitressing and was teaching a skating class with Dasha and Justin for pair skating. Dasha was getting old so in the next ten years Justin and she would be taking over while still skating. Ever since covid hit they had to stop skating in the lodge but that didn't stop them from going to the lake where they had their first heart-to-heart. But it was now May and the lake had married to warm up, but Justin and Kat always made time for just the two of them to sneak into the lodge to skate with them.
Kat sighed softly and looked "I'm about to steal that baby I swear" she started laughing softly. Kat was 25 now and was thinking about kids soon but she would want to be married first and she could see herself marrying Justin if he ever got the nerve to ask her. Justin smiled and shook his head "I think we're good for one babe. We have a puppy at home that's our baby "he said, chuckling.
Later on, Justin went to get them dinner after coming home from his dad and Mandy's house. He decided to get them panda express because that was what kat was in the mood for. He thought it was odd she now loved Chinese but didn't think anything of it.
Meanwhile, Kat was sitting on the ledge of the bathtub waiting. She had realized her period was late and the only time she was never late was when she had episodes and was stressed but Kat was not off her meds. She was having weird food cravings and she did start to worry if something more was happening,
Kat looked as if her timer went off at the three-minute mark. She looked at the test "there's no way: she thought and took another, but those two lines would change everything.
