SHINICHI'S POV
Another case was solved and as usual It was me.....who solved it
Megure keibu hit my back 3 times that I almost fell on the ground...I remember Ran how was she?
I walk home change my clothes and went to Agasa Hakase's house
"Hakase!!!!are you in there?" I yelled
"Ohhhhh!Shinichi!how is your day?" He ask energetically
"Ara!!how unusual for you to be pale!" A small girl's voice echoed
Wait was it who I think it was
"Haibara... You didn't take the antidote?"
"I wanna tease you with this body so I decided not to take it!" She smiled mischievously
"Taku!!!" I scoffed
"Ma!ma!Ai kun Shinichi kun calm down!"hakase sweat dropped as he place a plate of sandwich and glass of juice on the table
"Speaking of Shinichi kun... Ai kun's right you looked pale are you alright?"
I drank and smirked
"Who knows!!!"
Haibara's eyes widened
"M-masaka!!!you haven't eaten all day?"
"Well there's a sandwich eat it!" Hakase said
I obeyed I just took one bite and put it down hakase look at me with a question mark on his face
"Shinichi is ..."
"The girl at the agency"
Haibara cutted him... I sighed
"I just....don't know what should I feel..... Oh I should go!! Thank you hakase!" With that I left
As soon as I reach my room I lay on my bed and fell asleep....
I woke up feeling uneasy and weak my body is trembling but I let my mind control me.... I fix my self and went to school again I was early I sat on my my desk staring at the window I never thought reverting back would be this hard....
I didn't even notice my teachers lecturing nor scolding us for being rude in class not even that Ran is already well...... I just feel heavy and disoriented......
A day pass Megure keibu called me again so I skip my classes again and went to solve the cases
It wasn't that tough but making a criminal confess and submit himself was difficult..... Before he was drag to the patrol car he held out a pocket knife and knock me off I fell in the ground because of the impact he was really escaping when officer Sato cornered him and flip him while detective Takagi put handcuffs on him....... They helped me stood up and before reporters came and ask my testimony I was gone I already walk back home..... I was at the gate when my vision started to blur I ignore it and went in
Lights are on and a car was parked at the garage I looked at it when I realize whose car is it I went in with a smirk
"Mom!!!you should've called me before going back!"
I said...my mom turned around with a mischievous smile on her face
"Ara!Shin-chan are you OK? You're so pale?" She asked
I can't response anymore my vision was blurry likethere's a cloud blocking my eye and I notice something thick and red on my hand it was
Blood??? How?
I face my mom she was looking at me worriedly.... She ran to her bag and pull out her car keys
I lean on the wall I shut my eyes and all I remember was hearing my mom calling my name and a car engine starting........
YUKIKO'S POV
I took the last flight from LA to Japan..... I have tight schedules but I cancelled all of what I need to cancel and fly here.....I don't know why not until I saw Shinichi he was so pale and he was breathing heavily.. I saw something red gushing out of his uniform it was blood I rushed to get the car keys but when I got back he was already lying on the floor I put his arm on my shoulders and aid him to my car I drove full speed until I got to Beika General Hospital where I stormed inside the emergency room with my son covered in blood I know people will get surprise seeing the famous young detective helpless and unconcsious in the emergency room...
The doctors and nurses attentively gave him medication bringing him afterwards to a private room
"Excuse me Mrs.Kudo may I talk to you?" The doctor asked
I left my son's side and went outside the room
"Is everything okay?" I anxiously asked
"For now yes but we need more tests to do after our test just now we found out he hasn't eaten anything and also signs of upper respiratory syndrome giving him a high fever we'll give his other medications as soon as he gain his consciousness..." He bowed and left I was left there.... I sighed and went back to my son's room
Ring..... Ring....
My phone vibrated..... I answered it
"Ehhh???yes!!were in Beika General Hospital.... Okay bye!!"
I hung up it was hakase he said that Yuusako was here and he was asking hakase where we are... So he called
Several minutes later the door room opened it was Yuusako he was expressionless but I know he WS worried
"How was he?"my husband asked
"He's fine for now but there are still tests to do ...." I sighed once again.... Silence filled the room the only thing that breaks it was the cardiogram
"Shin-chan!" I whispered and let my self fall asleep
RAN'S POV
I was already well this morning and with that I went to school
That means I need to see him again
I'm not mad at him I'm mad at myself he was always there to protect me but I became mad at him for making me wait with a mere fact that he was just beside me.........at first I have the right to angry but he has more right to be,he's right I'm troublesome!!
It was two days already and we didn't talk to each other I bet there will be an awkwardness if one of us will suddenly talk while the feeling of melancholy filled the air
I walk inside our classroom with Sonoko and as I thought he was there with his child like sad face
I look at him he was pale.. hours just pass like a wind without any change
Lunch came and he wasn't eating anything he just stare at the window looking at nothing until his phone rang he answered it and after that he's gone...... I sighed I let the day pass without nothing on my mind but him
It was seven thirty in the evening I need to rush to cook food for dad and....... Me!
Its really weird waking up without that 'child' in the house
I was passing by the Beika Hospital when I saw someone familiar
Was it Shinichi's mom??? I saw nurses with a boy on a stretcher being rushed inside as the familiar woman followed ..... I shook my head and continued walking I'm out of my mind why would she be here? If not for Shinichi there has to be anything else before flying all her way to here...................
Morning....
I entered my classroom as usual I'm with Sonoko I expect to see him there but his seat was empty I ignore it and think maybe he woke up late....Half a day pass he doesn't come to school and I'm already panicking inside
What if the boy on stretcher I saw last night was him??? What if something wrong hapenned?
I waited patiently for the classes to end..... After classes I hurriedly run to where I think he was;at the Beika General Hospital
I walk in and ask the nurse on the front desk if there's a Shinichi Kudo that was admitted here last night and the thing I was frightened came he was in room 407
I was in front of door 407 I don't know if I'll knock or not I was really nervous I found myself knocking my body was trembling
A woman hair ringlets in her face opened the door it was Kudo Yukiko
"Ran!!!!!"she said shocked
"W-was he in there??" I stuttered
She sighed and let me in
My heart sank when I saw Shinichi lying on the hospital bed with an oxygen mask on his face covering his mouth and nose his left arm connected to a dextrose and his finger with a cardiogram attached to it
Aunt Yukiko comforted me in hug I know she's as sad as I am
"I'm sorry!!!"I said
"Ran it isn't your fault!" She said
"D-demo!"
"Ran you have the right to be mad at him!"
"I should've been more understanding... He did for me"
She didn't reply and just let me sit beside her
"Ran you know I always want you as my daughter in law!!" She smiled mischievously
I blushed...I also loved her like a mother and a friend........
I hope he will forgive me .... I love him so much and I want him to know that .........
