RAN'S POV
It was another week before Shinichi was discharged .... Now he was home and he was back to his old self his mom went back to LA two days after he was discharged..... He is also going back to school I'm glad it was like this again even if I miss him as Conan I'm happy his back!!!
I repeatedly ring his doorbell he isn't answering and judging to his timid personality I assume he's still inside the bathroom or maybe still sleeping .... I lose patience that I stopped ringing and just waited I was startled when the gates creek and opened it was him and like I assumed he's just about to have breakfast for he has a toast bread in his mouth when he opened the gates
"You're impatient!! I can hear the bell ringing from the inside you don't have to keep on ringing it!!" He said irritatedly .... Seriously???? I know you since were a child and you have a lazy personality........................
"G-gomene!!" I said
He went back inside and I waited again after another 10 mins.
We were walking on the streets when I suddenly remember a thing.....
"Ne! Conan kun!...." I paused I should get use to it Conan is Shinichi......
"Ne!Ran...do you really miss him?"
He asked .......
"Yes and No!" I said he just sighed and continued walking
"What were you saying?"
"Actually I remembered dad has a new case and..." He walked ahead of me he isn't even listening I chased him as always.....
"Ne!Ran!!! I'm sorry!!!" He said....
I smiled.......and think of a fun way to tease him
"Fine but on one condition...."
I said mischievously
"What is it????he frowned"
"Come with me Sonoko,Hattori kun and Kazuha chan at Okinawa this vacation!!!!" I said gleefully
He fake laughed and then agreed
"Yay!!!!!Okinawa......" I said like a child
Days after we went to Okinawa as planned ... Well all of them already knew who Conan really was so there's no Need to hide
We already arrived at the resort beach and got changed all of us was ready except for him.
"Why are you still on that clothes???? You supposed to be wearing a beach outfit!!!" I asked
"I----uuuuhhhhhhh!!!!ahmmmm"
"What?"
"I just don't want to.....ah eghgh uhmmm...."
Sonoko came near us while also telling him to wear a swimming attire
"Ara!!!why so shy??????not interested in any of this?????"she asked with one brow raised
I saw him gritted his teeth and blush slightly
"Its just that I don't want Ran to..." He didn't finish and pulled his shirt of....he's right I'll remember everything that gave pain because of his scars......scars that came from the past......and was supposed to be on a burial today...
I went near him and trace the scars with my fingers no matter how much he resist.... I trace scar on his lower left back
"Is this from that day....the one from that cave incident???" He nodded
I sighed and then changed the gloomy topic....
"Ja!!!let's go!!!!those scars are from the past so let's forget about them!!!!" I pulled him by his wrist and run to the beach side
I was about to drag him into the water when a bunch of girls and reporters came rushing to us I can hear the same screams from our left....same scenario Hattori kun and Kazuha chan was also inside a crowd of girls and reporters......
I sweat dropped.. I was pushed by other girls to my side I closed my eyes to hide the pain from my ears if they scream..... But I heard nothing .. Silence filled the air
"W-who is she????why is she with him?" I heard some girls broking the silence
What's going on???? Why are they glaring at me?????
I felt a slight thug on my stomach I looked at it and that's when I realize I was clinging on Shinichi's arm we looked at each other and I swear my cheeks became red as well as him...... I.... We blushed I let go of his arm and parted from him as reporters put a mic just below his face and asked questions about us!!!!
"Kudo Shinichi!!!the girl we saw before.... Is she your girlfriend??"
"Kudo kun.... Are you two dating???"
"Is that Ran Mouri the daughter of the famous Kogoro Mouri and the champion of the National Karate tournament?????"
He cleared his throat and was about to speak when he put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer....
I blushed and in the corner if my eye I can also see his turning pink
"Ahhh!!! Actually I came here with her because of a favor and also to d-d-date her......and if anything went further I - I - I would tell you guys.... For now I need some air so that's it for now were going!!!" He said I was dragged by him out of the crowd where I could see some girls felling on their knees and smiling widely
Did he really say that???? Am I imagining or all of it was real???? I can feel my heart beat faster
He then spoke up
"R-Ran I'm sorry about the chaos....b-but what I said is true!!!I - I l-love y-you!!!!!!!!" He was bright red
"I- I love y-you t-too!!!!!!" I said stuttering
I remember the kiss...... I kissed him in the hospital right???
I buried my face in my hands
"L-lets pick shells????" He asked shyly I nodded and try to joined the fun he was with...
After some time I already forgot what happened...... And all I know was he's back really back!!!!!
