Louis' POV

1 Week have finally passed, 1 week since the encounter El and I had with Max. This whole week, we became very busy with the schoolworks, tests, and preparations for our upcoming graduation. I can't believe that I'm finally graduating from my lovely University. After this, I have to find a proper job, be succesful in life and then have a family. Time really goes by fast.

"Louis, honey We have to go. We're running out late" My thoughts goes off when my mom softly knocked on my bedroom door. I haven't notice that I've been staring at my glass wall for too long

"I'm coming mom! Just a second" I began to adjust my necktie and check for my outfit if it looks fine. Its My graduation day and its still sinking in until now. I mean wow, I survived from going to school and it just felt so amazing.

When I'm finally done, I walked downstairs and saw my mom and sisters, waiting for me in our living room.

She pulled me into a hug once I reach her and then smiled "Let's go"

I smiled as well and we began walking towards my car.

I was the one who drove it since my mom doesn't know how to drive

"Mom, where's dad?" I ask when I noticed he's isn't here. This is my special day, yet he's still busy with his work shit.

"Oh, your dad... Well he's still in New York" she answered, her eyes are kinda teary.

"Mom, seriously what's happening?" I looked through the rearview mirror

"N-nothing" she answered stuttering. It feels like there's something wrong between the two of them. Me, without knowing. I just shrugged it off anyways and continued focusing on the road.

I pulled in our University's parking lot and we started making our way to the venue.

The Venue is amazing as I thought. I really can't believe this is happening.

"Louis!" I narrow my eyes to the one who called me and its Zayn, with Perrie and Eleanor. They're wearing their graduation uniform as well.

"Hey guys!" I hugged them one by one and did my Fist bump with Zayn.

"I can't believe we're graduating!" Eleanor said, overwhelmed at the scenarios we we're in.

"As I am" I smiled widely

"Lou, we're just going to sit in our appropriate seats" my mom suddenly chime in our conversation and I nod my head as she kisses my cheeks.

"Aww momma's boy" Zayn teasingly said once my mom left our group

"Shut up Zayn!" I blushed and they laughed.

"And now, let us call the graduates" the proffesor energetically called out the students and I'm just here sitting. Nervousness is eating me alive because I had to do some speech. I'm the Valedictorian.

All of the students we're called and the Salutatorian which is Eleanor has already did her speech

"And now, let us call Louis Tomlinson our Valedictorian for his speech." I stand in my seat, feeling nervous as fuck as I walk through the podium for my speech. I met Eleanor halfway and she smiled, mouthing "you can do it" because she knows how nervous I am.

I stand in front of the many people and started checking the microphone

"Hello, Hello" I tapped it and the audience started laughing. I ignored them and started my speech.

"So Good Evening Everyone! I hope ya'll are having a great time. Its a great feeling to finally graduate, right?! We're finally free from schoolworks, detentions, and homeworks!" The crowd laughed again.

"Well for me, I have so many experiences here in our University and I'm going to miss this place and the teachers as well. As ya'll know, I am the Valedictorian and because of that I wanna say thanks to the people who inspired me for this award. Uhh Zayn, mate thank you because you're there with me the whole time and thank you for being the best mate I'd ever had" I looked at Zayn, who is wiping his tears because of what I said

"And also thank you to Eleanor and Liam. They're my new friends and I can't thank them enough for being nice friends to me. I would like to thank my friends, teammates and teachers for all that you've done to me. And specially my mom, because of her I wouldn't achive this lovely award and I would'nt stand in front of you right now. Thank you so much mom For caring, and showing your support throughout my journey in life." My mom is in tears when I catch a glimpse of her.

"May our journey in life be good as we graduate here, in our Alma mater. Congratulations Co-Graduates!" The crowd roared with claps and I made my way throughout the stage. I'm glad that I'm finally done with my speech because that one was hella nerve wracking, but it felt good also.

I sat with my friends again and they patted me in the shoulder, congratulating.
