Wednesday morning. Rain drops. Cold weather.
Ang sarap matulog at ipagbukas nalang ang mga tambak na gawain. We have one week vacation but for me parang hindi rin naman siya bakasyon, binigyan ka ba naman ng assignment— hindi lang isa kundi isang assignment every subject. So obviously eight 'to at wala pa akong nasisimulan.
Saya.
First day of our vacation, kumuha kami ng langka. Gumawa ako ng strawberry jam, tapos nag aral ako mag-fry ng breast chicken with ham and cheese. I saw that on YouTube and of course I want to try it, so I asked mommy if we can do it. She said yes.
Second day, nag mall kami ni kuya kase sira na yung shoes ko, as-ing sira, bumuka na siya. So I asked mommy uli kung pwede mary jane shoes nalang para pang matagalan and tumangkad ako, pero I have an average height but you know, average lang.
After namin bumili nagkayayaan naman sila kuya ng friends niya ng night swimming daw, syempre epal ako sumama ako. Pumayag naman si kuya kase may pupuntahan rin daw sila mommy at papa.
Kuya's circle of friends is fine for me. They're five the couple, kuya's crush, and a gay. Kiya Marco still want me to call him kuya, also when people say “he's gay” it's actually fine he said there's nothing wrong with that 'cause it's actually true. He's so kind and always making jokes, so we vibea. The couple, ate Unissa and kuya Niue, highschool sweetheart's. Last but not the least Vanish, kuya's long time crush.
I don't know why until now hindi parin siya umamin halata naman na si ate Ni gusto rin siya, old people nga naman. Torpe people.

“Nat, give ate Nini some watermelon.”here it goes again kuya's baritone voice.
Kinuha ko 'yung pinaka-maliit na pakwan at tama nga ang hinala ko. Kuya's watching me all this time and right now, dilat na dilat na yung mga maya sakin. So kinuha ko na iyong malaki ng kaunti.
“Ate Nini, aminin mo na kasi na crush mo si kuya.”ate's looking at me like how the way kuya looked everytime inaasar ko siya. “Ay correction, in love pala. Welcome kana sa amin no.”
Tawa na tuloy ng tawa si ate, ngiti lang ang ginawad sakin. This kind of moment is my biggest “when”. I know my brother heared all that fuss and I know he's happy about it.
“Nat, si Mich naman dapat ang sunod na ilagay sa hot seat.”kuya Marco set the fire here. Ate Nini's right now if all red and kuya obviously enjoying this moment. “Moment of truth na oh, merry christmas! Cheers.” and we all cheers, they are drinking that hard drink and me, just this sweet wine.
I'm still young and I don't want hard drinks. “Kuya, how about you. How much do you love ate Ni?” kuya's grin fade but change into a smile. “Kung si Ni, crush. Si Michael syempre love dapat.”ginatungan pa nga naman ni kuya Niue.
“I love Ni just the way he loved that k-pop boy who's her first love. I'm wishing that Nini knows what I'm willing to do for her, needed or not in everything she loves. Christmas wish naba guys?” ate Uniss keeps on clapping her hands with a grin showing the left dimples of hers. “My christmas wish, I'm wishing that Nicole Chloe's officially mine.”I look at ate Ni's and I saw her full smile showing her teeth and those two dimples.
Kuya and her can't stop smiling. Even their friends. If that boy actually have the same feeling with me, my christmas would be more merry. I know we shouldn't always ask a reciprocate because it's just a “crush”or just infantuated but we can fool ourselves. Deep inside we are wishing that, he also feel the same way. Just a little bit of chance for my not so romantic life.
But I didn't expect. After all, It's just me. Not like the any other girls he likes. My wish for this christmas is for me to have that man of my life, that is like kuya or better than kuya. Who's will be my best friend and haven.
“Kami nalang pala ni Nat ang single, kawawa naman kami.”sabay cheers sa akin ni kuya Marco. “Heh wag ako, I saw you earlier. A man send you here. A man. Not just a man. Man with car. Masculine body and have a biceps.”
“Did you here me guys, I'm one hundred percent sure, kuya Marcos's have a merry, not just merry but merry merry christma— Aw!”ikaw ba naman ang pisil-pisilin ang pisngi. “Ang daldal naman ng Nat-nat namin.” halatang gigil pa ang pag-kakasabi.
“I bet that's Dan, the boss.”and all of them agree. Also me.
“Let's play nalang, truth or dare.”kuya suggested. “You're so boring kuya, common na common naman niyan. Mafia game nalang tayo, I'm the narrator.” sinamangutan lang ako ni kuya.
“Stop with you k-pop thingy, Natalia. Get that bottle.”at nautasan pa nga.
I don't like truth or dare, I hate everytime that bottle stop with me. “Oh si Nat, this is what you call swerte.”kuya Niue said. I knew it, lucky they said.
“Truth.”and they all growled. “Dare, Nat. Dare ka nalang.” ate Uniss suggested. “But I'm the one whose gonna choose right?” they just gave me a grin look especially ate Unissa.
“Dare, dare.”
“Fine.”clap, clap. “So ako ang magbibigay ng dare, Nat come here.”masunuring bata lumapit ako kay ate Unissa at bumulong siya sa akin. “See that boy wearing a black hoodie and cap?”she's talking about the boys who's watching his family taking photos and sitting at the bench.
“Kiss him.”bingi ata ako. Nabingi ata ako bigla.
“What the hell, ate big no.”I can't believe what ate's thinking. I know I'm already 18, grade 12 student but. What the heck. “Are you serious?”
“Yes.”buong-buong sagot ni ate. “Mamaya gagawin ni bebe Nat ang dare, mission accomplished Marco galing mo mag-paikot ng bote sakto kay Nat agad.”So this is planned.
“Hate you.”with matching glare. “No Nat, you will love us more. Trust me.” kuya Marcos's most of the time is very—ugh nakakainis.
“Eat up everyone, enjoy this grilled pork.” how can I enjoy my favorite inihaw if iyong dare ko halikan yung, poging maputi na matangkad tapos naka clean cut na lalaki na may dalawang dimples, what the heck!
After an hour, we are all done eating. I excuse my self that I will go to the bathroom. Lucky, lucky me chiken. The boy's here.
Since I'm fearless, wala naman mawawala. Nasa resort naman kami. Malabong makita ko itong lalaki na ito uli. This js the right time.
Nakatalikod siya at dahan dahan akong lumapit.
