To steal your heart

You wiped your tears and rammed down the stairs. He can't walk that fast.

You open the front door and see his beautiful face. He was standing still, his eyes were slightly red. He cried too.

What the hell am I doing?

"I love you, please don't leave me." You grabbed his shirt. Taehyung opened his arm to hug you.

"Y/n..."

"I'm so stupid. Can you forgive me?"

"I don't know being with me hurts you that much. Let's just be friends from now on..."

"Taehyung... please..."

"Y/n, we are this close but I can't protect you. I must not be a reliable boyfriend and you aren't as happy as you used to be."

"That's not true. I'm the happiest girl when I am with you. I love you, Taehyung."

Taehyung caressed your wet cheeks. He kissed your forget as it is goodbye.

"I can't be your boyfriend knowing your heart bleeds to be with me."

You can't change his mind anymore. You stepped back a little. Take a look at his mesmerizing face. One kiss changed you two into someone else.

"You are right... Let's be friends from now on... I can't lose you twice..."

You wish you could hug him for the last time but you won't be able to let him go if that happens.

Taehyung waved goodbye and didn't look back. You cried yourself to sleep that night. Your eyes really swollen the morning after. You decided to reward yourself a day off from school. Your mom didn't ask what happened. She just gave you an ice pack to compress your eyes.

She checked on you once in a while. You reassured her that you won't jump from the balcony. That won't be suicide anyway. Maybe break your leg instead.

You opened the necklace he gave you as the birthday gift. That same night you had your first time with him. Will it be different if you never kiss him that day?

Will you have a better chance to be with him in the future as a grown up?

Someone knocked on your window.

"Hi." Jungkook showed you what he has.

You sighed, "I'm not in the mood, Jungkook."

"I'm bringing ice cream." He let himself in.

"That's very kind of you..."

"So, Taehyung told Jimin what happened."

"Yeah, can you at least pretend to be a little sad? My heart is still broken here."

He smirked, "Well, I feel bad for him tho." Jungkook sat next to you, "I even got my own spoon."

"Give it to me!" You took the ice cream bucket from him, "How is he?"

"He is alright. His eyes are better than yours."

"I guess I love him more then..." You snuggled with Jungkook. What is love anyway? You got a big scoop and stuffed it in your mouth.

"Jimin is on the way."

"I missed him so much." My savior...

"I got here first. Plus I got you ice cream."

"Yes, Jungkook." You got his point.

"Will it be too fast if I say I want you to be mine?" Jungkook grabbed your face. You almost drop the ice cream.

"Slow your pace, loser!" Jimin threw him a snack pack.

"You are quick." Jungkook pouted.

"Come here!" Jimin pulled you into a hug.

"I miss you..."

"You should go to school then."

"How is he?"

"Not good... But he will get through it..." you sighed, "Y/n , you won't jump to bed with him right away, will you?" Jimin pointed to Jungkook who looked extremely happy and almost jumped in the bed.

"No!" You denied him quickly.

"Hei! That's not okay! No need to deny it so hard." Jungkook rolled his eyes.

"Can you give this back to him?" You grabbed the necklace from the table, giving it to Jimin.

"I thought he wanted you to keep it, babe.."

"I'll give it back to him if you ask me to." Jimin glared at him.

"It's not your business, jackass." You stuck your tongue out.

"Just keep it. You don't know what will happen next. He might regret it and crawl back to you. That actually sounds like him."

Taehyung only can look at you from far away. He wants to touch you so bad. He wants to grab your face and kiss your red lips over and over again. He wants to mark your neck and do bad things to you.

But you are not his anymore.

Jungkook on the other side shamelessly stays beside you all the time. He can freely touch your back or hands, knowing you don't belong to anyone. It's not like he cares before. But putting his hand around you now makes Taehyung upset and he likes it.

Jimin just watches the three of you being stupid. He was sad after hearing you and Taehyung broke up. He went to your house right away. Leaving Taehyung behind. You are his dear friend. And Jimin knows you have never had a broken heart before. He wants to be there with you.

That bastard, Jungkook, was already there. Y/n was snuggling to him. Geez, she should see Jungkook ready to take her right there right now at the moment.

Things have been awkward ever since...

You went back to zero. You tried to distract yourself from Taehyung. It's not easy. Your body was missing his warmth. You missed his kisses. You missed his fingers. You missed him. You missed Taehyung. Well, you two decided to be friends again. You ignore your thoughts when you are alone. You stay with Jungkook as long as you can. Because you know he is ready to catch if you fall.

Your mom talked to you a lot too.

She regretted that your first love ended so fast. She knows Taehyung loves you and you love him back... She never thought it would be this short.

You keep the necklace next to Jungkook's gift. You dared yourself to open the jewelry box and see what's inside. It's earrings. 

Jungkook bought it from some expensive brand. Then you realized that he worked for it. He spent his time to show his effort to steal your heart.
