"How long do we have?" Tamie asks lying back on the couch in my room.
It's been a couple of hours and we were all slouched around my room staring at our phones waiting for what isn't coming. Maybe the guys were having more will power than us. Maybe we were gonna lose this battle. I know for a fact that Avery will kill us if we lose, but by the look of her face she might be the one to lose the battle against the guys herself.
We had to do this. Not just for us, but for all the girls out there. Guys think they're better than us well this simple bet will prove all guys wrong.
"6 days" I answer getting a groan from both of them. This was going to be so much harder than we originally thought. I stood up from my bed and took a walk over to my window where I saw Brody's curtains open. He was lying on his bed with his phone held up above his head.
Maybe the guys are suffering just as bad as us girls and then as if he knew I was standing there he sat up and came to the window. He gave me a sad smile and I wanted to so badly open the window up and forfeit the stupid bet, but I didn't. Again I was doing this for women power and I will not be a sucker. I gave him a small smile back and turned away closing my curtains at the same time. I could just see the smirk on his face. I never close my curtains and he knows that.
"Whose idea was this stupid bet again?" Tamie asks sending me a glare.
"Heeeey..." I hold up my hands in defence "it wasn't my idea it was your stupid boyfriend, so blame him"
"Oh right yeah it was sorry Ski" Tamie apologised and I nodded accepting it.
"Oh god what am I gonna do tomorrow. I had a hot date with Dean" Avery whines with a small pout "Damn your boyfriend to hell Tamara"
Tamie sighed and sat up crossing her legs on the couch "how about we just call the guys over and call a truce"
"Are you kidding Tams, it's been 4 hours since the bet started and already we're thinking of giving up. What does that actually say about us. It says we need a guy to live and I for one do not need any guy, so we are not forfeiting okay" I rant crossing my arms across my chest "I mean it guys we are not giving up"
"Okay fine" Avery stomps her foot like a child "What we going to do tomorrow then since it looks like I'm spending it with you?"
"We my dear friend are going to go dress shopping" Avery's face lit up and I could see the excitement on her face. She was literally bouncing in her seat on my bed.
"We get to go formal dress shopping really?" I nod and a small squeal escaped her lips "Yaay" She was now bouncing around on my bed doing her little happy bouncing. It made Tamie and I smile and then I heard my phone ring. All of us moved our eyes onto my phone that was on the beside table and I slowly made my way over to it "Is it Brody?" Avery asks standing behind me. I looked down at the phone and sighed in disappointment.
"Nope it's not Brody" The girls both sighed in disappointment too. I guess we thought the guys would cave first "It's just Sutton" I slide the screen across and put the phone to my ear and walk to my bedroom door "I'm gonna go get something to drink, you guys want anything?"
"Soda please" They both reply and I nod walking out of the room.
"Hey twin" I say walking down the hall from my room.
"So a funny thing happened about an hour ago" Sutton states and I could tell she was walking around her room because I could hear her open and shut drawers "Brody called me" I stopped in the kitchen and put the phone on speaker.
"Brody called you?" I questioned walking around to the fridge.
"Yeah he explained the whole bet thing to me which by the way is stupid" Sutton says. I grab a bottle of water from the fridge and two orange soda's which I know both Avery and Tamie like "but he wanted me to tell you that he misses you and that he wishes you'd cave" I smiled at that as I opened my bottle of water and took a gulp from it "who even started that bet?"
