“Mingi! Look!” Yunho shouted happily as soon as he got his paper. Ignoring the teacher’s scolding to lower down his voice, Yunho skipped his way towards Mingi, flapping his paper around.
92% ?! Mingi stared down at Yunho’s paper and looked back up at Yunho in confusion. How the hell?!
“Bet you forgot I’m an alpha like you, huh?” Yunho grinned annoyingly, and Mingi could feel the blood in his body boil.
“Sit.” Mingi points at Yunho’s seat, sounding rather calm. He gestured for Yunho to be seated, making the taller pout at the lack of reaction. But he quietly obeyed, earning a muffled laugh from the teacher.
“Mingi.” The teacher called out.
Mingi quickly stood up and walked to the front, waiting for the teacher to pass him his paper.
98% .
“AHAHAHAHAHAHA, YOU LOSE!” Mingi jumped up as soon as he saw his marks, he laughed as he ran to Yunho, shoving his paper into Yunho’s face.
Everyone were genuinely shocked to see Mingi’s big reaction, they’ve been classmates for months now and this is the first time they’ve seen Mingi laugh so hard.
“Tsk.” Yunho rolled his eyes, “I’ll definitely beat you next time.” He said as he slaps Mingi’s arms, pushing him away.
“Guess who’ll be tutoring you?” Mingi grinned, tilting his head further, teasing the taller.
Yunho blushed, but an evil thought arose in his mind, “Why don’t we make a bet?”
His suggestion caught Mingi’s interest, “What bet?”
“Whoever scores the highest next time gets to do whatever he wants with the loser.”
Mingi smiled and nodded. Then and there, a small seed of anticipation had been planted.
~.~.~.~.
“You know, for an alpha, you really suck at exercising.” Yunho laughed as he watched Mingi trying to catch his breath after a few laps of running. The poor guy was almost at the brink of suffocation.
Mingi wanted to punch Yunho, but his arms were giving out.
“S-sh-shut up…” Mingi gasped out in between breaths.
Yunho giggled, “You should exercise more, maybe I could train you.” Just the thought of seeing Mingi struggling made him smirk out of joy. Without another word, Yunho was punched out of frame by the shorter.
“I can’t exercise for too long.” Mingi blurted out, gaining the taller’s attention.
“Why?”
Mingi lowered his head and lined his lips. And Yunho got the message, “You can tell me anytime when you feel more comfortable.”
The shorter only nodded and smiled. He then took off running again.
“He- Where’re you going?!” Yunho quickly shouted.
Mingi points at the field, “I’m only two laps in.”
“WHAT?!” At that point, Yunho thought Mingi had already finished running the 5 laps they were assigned to, seeing how tired Mingi was.
He shook his head, feeling somewhat speechless. Yet his eyes couldn’t move away from Mingi.
He watched as the shorter jogs around the field, the sun landing cozily on him, as if the light was always chasing him. He couldn’t help but notice how pale Mingi was, he’s practically glowing. His classmates would occasionally tease Mingi by tickling him, and the alpha would start chasing them down. Or was it hunting them down…?
