Chapter 26

Melody’s P.O.V

“Boo!” I yelled running to Niall and jumping on his back. He wobbled a little before regaining his balance.

“You know, a 90 pound girl won’t make me fall.” I smirked. I kissed his cheek and jumped off running to upstairs.

“Come back! That’s cheating!” Niall yelled running after me. I giggled and ran out to the balcony.

“I got you trapped now little girl.” He winked running after me. He tackled me to the ground and kissed me. We stayed like that watching the sunset.

“Goodness babe, you’re getting huge now.” Niall said as he rubbed my stomach.

“I know, bigger than normal.” I frowned.

“Oh my god! Mel! I felt it move, but it felt like 2 things moving around.” He smiled. His face lit up even in the dark sunset.

“What if we’re having twins?” I asked.

“Oh shit, that will be hard. But I’ll love however many there is.” He said laying back down.

“I can’t wait to see if it’s a boy or girl in 2 weeks.” I said as I drew little circles in his stomach.  Niall nodded and smiled, while continuing to play with my hair.

“I have a surprise for you.” Niall smiled.

“Hmm, what is it?” I asked looking up at him.

“You’ll find out at 7. Come on, we’re gonna go out to dinner, dress good.” He said running away. I didn’t refuse because I was tired of eating fast food.

As I walked into the room I started to hum along to the music playing. I went in the bathroom and hopped into the shower. I washed my hair with my new shampoo. I washed my body and shaved and cut the water off. I went and got my pink robe and dried off, and wrapping the robe around my body. My small sized belly bump starting to show. I dried my hair and did a French braid on the top leaving the rest of it to straighten. I slowly straightened every piece of hair and moved on to my makeup. I went with the natural look and put everything away.

“Niall pink, or green?” I asked yelling at him, when hes only on the other side of the room.

“Green” he yelled back. Of course its green, It’s Niall were talking about. I picked out the see through green shirt that tied a knot at the bottom and some white skinny jeans. I picked out my underwear and bra and returned back to the bathroom. I untied the robe and put everything on. I walked back in the room and saw Niall in a red polo and some jeans.

“I like these shoes. “ he said pointing to the black pumps. I grabbed them on put them on and walked to the mirror. I looked good, nothing to fancy, nothing to casual. I went over to my desk and found a black necklace with a matching bracelet and earrings. I put everything on and got my purse.

“Ready babe?” Niall asked taking my hand as he led me to his sports car.

“Yep, where we going?” I asked getting in.

“Surprise.” He winked as he walked over to the other side. He got in and we drove to a formal restaurant. He got out and came to open  my door.

“M’lady.” He smiled as he took my hand and helped me out. We walked into the restaurant and waited.

“This way.” A lady said taking us to a table with a woman sitting there, with a younger guy.

“Surprise babe.” Niall smiled as the woman and man got up to hug Niall.

“This must be Melody, oh goodness Niall, shes beautiful.” The woman said.

“Yep, Mel  this is me mum and older brother Greg.” Niall smiled.

“Hello Ms’ Horan.” I smiled.

“Oh no dear, that makes me feel old call me Maura.” She smiled. I nodded and said hello to Nialls brother.

“Mum, Greg, we have something to tell you.” Niall said as we ate our dinner.

“Me and Mel are engaged.” He smiled. Maura almost choked on her steak when Niall said that and Gregs mouth just hit the table.

“Wow, I’m so proud of you! Make sure you take care of my baby boy.” Maura said sipping her glass of water

“I wouldn’t dream on ever hurting him. And one more thing, I’m also 3 and a half weeks pregnant.” I smiled. This time she fully choked, but was saved by Greg.

“Wow, Niall. Hows this gonna do with your job? And are you ready for this Melody?” she asked.

“Yes ma’am. It was shocking at first, but I know that Niall and I are going to be fine.” I said, proud with my short and simple answer.

“Mum, we’ve already announced it to  the fans. And we’re gonna deal with it. Tours been called off until the baby is old enough.” Niall smiled. “ And guess what!” he said his smile getting bigger.

“What?” Greg said taking a bite of his potato.

“ I got to feel the baby kick earlier.” Niall smiled bigger, if that’s possible.

“Wow, it makes it so much more real when you feel that.” Maura smiled. “Do you know if it’s a boy or girl? And any names?”

“Well, in 2 weeks we will, and yep. Boy- Adam Drake, and girl is Eliza Grace.” I said smiling as I finished my fabulous food.

“Those are wonderful!” Maura said.

The rest of the night we all went to the house, earning a lot of gasps and laughs from Maura and Greg about the size of the house.

“Heres your room mum.” Niall said pointing to the maroon colored walls. I showed Greg his room and went back to my room. I slipped out of my clothes and into my pjs and climbed into the warm bed.

“Night Mel, I love you.” Niall whispered kissing my temple.

Soon I fell asleep dreaming of how me and Nialls worlds will be changed after we’re married and have kids.
