Hello! I'm Celeste, the author of Zing Boom!

Thank you so much for reading my first ever completed book. I've never completed a book before, despite writing many of them in my free time (which I never end up publishing), and I'm grateful for all the support I've gotten so far about it!

I've been writing this book for three months with MANY different versions of the story before I landed on this version and decided to publish it at the beginning of January!!

I'm a nervous perfectionist who hates publishing my work because I'm always afraid that someone will think it's cringey, or hate the story line or think it's too overdone (and it probably is). But I got covid coming into the New Year and decided that I was a bored and wanted to try something new without exerting my body since I was sick.

So I decided to publish this book that I had been holding onto for quite some time. It wasn't complete at the time, but I was willing to put in the work to finish it and I'm still editing it really.

Not gonna lie, if I didn't get covid, I probably would've never published this book.

You may notice that this book seems a lil incomplete and don't worry! That's because there will be a part 2 :)

It is currently in the making hehe actually half of it is already done and the first parts will be published soon. I'm a firm believer of having content mostly finished before I publish it.

You don't buy books from the store that aren't completed, no? I understand that Wattpad is a bit different, but I'd rather release parts knowing that I will definitely complete it.

So I'll give it my best shot !

And yes, I made the cover — I am majoring in illustration and design so I like to use my skills whenever I can :)

Just a few notes about the story:

- Yes, I moved Mineta to Class B. I don't really know how to write really nasty characters like him, so I essentially replaced him with Kazumi and even put her in his seat behind Midoriya HAHAHA. Hey, at least I didn't cut him out completely (which my friends actually told me to do).

- I will not be writing about the SPOILERS!!! Midoriya vigilante Arc. The vigilante arc is not animated yet (at least at the time of writing this). But I may have written the beginning of the Meta Liberation Army Arc who knows ? (but me of course since I've already written the first half of the story).

- Bakugou and Aizawa may seem a bit out of character. But I feel like I had to make them a bit emotional, especially Bakugou since he is the love interest. Alas, it's a fanfiction and, quite frankly, I can do whatever the fuck I want.

- Speaking of my doing whatever the fuck I want, I'm not writing smut :)

- Also, yes I'm Australian, that's why I spell words with 's's instead of 'z's and write 'mum' instead of 'mom'. The contrast has always been weird so I always try to write 'mother' whenever it doesn't seem too formal to do so. But yes, this is in Australian English. I didn't spell incorrectly, it's just good ol' down under English.

Thank you so much for the love and support on this book! It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I'm pretty proud of it and I'll take all the constructive criticism into consideration for the new book or future edits that may occur for this book.
