y/n joined the emperor's coven because they always felt like they were meant for greatness. They always felt like no one was noticing them and they wanted to live their life to the fullest.
"Congratulations on finishing your training"
y/n was knelt on the ground with their head
down for the emperor.
"Now enjoy your new life, the Titan has great plans for you. Young one. My nephew is a very strong young man. He will be training you."
You gasp and shot your head up. "But-" You wanted to say you didn't need more training but the Emperor assured you it was the Titans plan. Then the future golden guard greeted you. And you two made your way out of the throne room. All he did was talk and talk about rules and bologna, it was starting to get annoying.
"And then theres the library with a whole load of books on all kinda of magic if you'd like to-"
"Listen." You cut him off. "All this sounds cool and all but i'm gonna get some rest, if you don't mind."
"O-oh okay yea you need to be ready for our first mission. We wouldn't want you messing up." He said kinda coldly. Ouch....
Hunters p.o.v
I have to train a new scout to be my new partner, I had seen them before two years ago at the tournament. I already knew that they were a skilled witch. BUT I DONT NEED SOMEONE WITH MAGIC TO HELP ME!! Sadly uncle says its what the Titan wants but i feel like they will only drag me down AND I DON'T NEED A PARTNER!!!
The two of them struggled heavily to get along on mission despite how many mission they failed, Belos still sent them on more.
y/n and the golden guard were sent to kill a Selkidomus but by themselves. Apparently it was a major test of teamwork and strength. And belos needed the scales.
"Okay." Goldie said looking at the Selkidomus from behind a rock. "y/n. Heres the plan-"
"wait wait... why do you always make the plans?"
"Well im the leader obviously i may be the emperors right hand man but you're mine." You glared at him. "Basically you're my sidekick."
"NUH UH GOLDILOCKS. THIS IS NOT HOW THIS WORKS." you said a little too loudly and he shushed you.
"Im more like the emperors left hand man. We are a team. So i make the plan!"
"No way! Last time I listened to you I GOT LAUNCHED ACROSS THE KNEE."
"IT WAS ONE TIME!" You retorted. Your bickering ended up with the Selkidomus sneaking up on the two of you and you two couldn't stop fighting the whole time. So lets just say they lost.
The boat ride home was extremely awkward.
"THATS IT!" Goldie finally snapped. "I AM DEMANDING THE EMPEROR TO FIND YoU A NEw paRtNER" His voice cracked a couple times which made you laugh.
"Thats not gonna happen." You already requested for a new mentor and you were refused every time.
"How do you know!?"
"ugh." you groaned. He kept asking so you just yelled. "BECAUSE I ALREADY ASKED OKAY??? I DONT WANT TO BE YOUR PARTNER AS MUCH AS YOU! NO, PROBABLY MORE THEN YOU!!!"
He didn't respond.
He only looked at you. And he looked kinda hurt
You didn't see him around the castle for a few days after that.
