My brother, Darrian went out with his friends as I went to work. I sighed as I opened the door, with that big ass sign saying "Foot Locker". I walked in and got all my stuff set up and started talking to my friend, Jai'Naii. "How was your date last night?" I said carrying a shoe box. "the nigga was a bum." She said turning to me. I laughed as I heard the door open.
I turned around just to see Darrian and a group of boys with him, "dari why are you here?" I said putting it down and walking up to him. "you forgot yo money at home" He said handing me two 20$ bills. "thank you dari" I said dragging the word as I gave him a hug "movee" He said trying to get me off. "I can't hug my brother now" I said raising both of my eyebrows. "Mmtch" He said sucking his teeth.
I looked behind him and saw david, elijah, dee and roscoe but notti caught my eye, He was a little taller then me with curly hair. He had a million dollar smile and I could bet on that, I quickly looked away since I was blushing. "Yoo she got a crush on notti or something" David who was next to him said smiling. Darrian looked at them "she prolly does" He said smirking at me. I met Notti when Darrian met him when we were like 8, When we were younger we got "married" Ive been liked him I just didn't wanna show it plus I was scared of rejection. I looked back at him and started mugging him, He looked back at me and shrugged his shoulders.
I walked back to him, "talk to him though rq" Darrian said pushing me "you fine ash today ma" Notti said to me. I turned red and covered my smile, "thank youu" "you tryna hang after yo shift?" He said as he licked his lips I looked down and was thinking "sure idm" "bye naamina" He said looking up at me. I giggled and walked away as I looked down at my phone while sitting at the desk. "text me later ight?" He said looking at me. I nodded as I watched him walk out.
The first thing that I thought to myself was when did I get off work. I just got there and was already tired, I looked at the clock and sighed.

It was finally the end of my shift, I got my purse and my things out my locker as I walked home.
Once I got into the house, I saw Darrian and his friends in the living as I went to my room on the stairs I yelled . "volví abuela!" "bienvenida de nuevo mina!" She yelled back from the kitchen, "her and that nickname.." I mumbled to myself as I ran up the stairs. I got to my room and went to take a shower.
