Chapter 2

Ruby's pov

I was getting my things ready i had to put down my machete,gun,shotgun,sword,and whip i was feeling light today without my weapons i only had my two knives tucked under my sleeves.i was covered in rags and my trusty steel boots anytime if i have to kick some people.

I was ready to go when i heard samuel came in my little cottage home ( which i had to kill some family and bury them in the back of the house).

" So i see you have your things ready" samuel said.

" Yes.did you need to tell me something samuel"? i asked.

" Well i am going to say don't forget to act like a slave which means don't get into a fight with mr.willigham and don't kill him until i say so cause our brotherhood wants to make him suffer for the damage he caused us" he said.

" Ok anything else i need to know"? i asked.

" Well he has four childern one of them has twins one boy one girl and he has a 6 year old daghter and 4 year old daughter" he said.

" Do i have to kill all of them"? i asked.

" Of course you do! what now you starting to feel sorry for what you about to do?!? because they won't think twice of doing it to us!!!!! samuel yelled.

" No! i never meant any of that i was just wondering if i have to kill all of them when you give me the signal i will do it" i said.

" That's what i like to hear i will have one of the brothers to come and check up on you and i will give you advice to kill them faster,and cruel" he said.

" Ok what's the twin's ages"? i asked.

" Oh there around your ages the girl is 16 and the boy is 17" he said.

" Ok. samuel i better go" i said.

" Ok don't forget what i told you"!! he said.

I nodded and when i got to the forest i started running it usually helps me relive my stress i know it's not good to be 16 and be having stress but hey, if your black and trying to have a life as a free black person well you got to be a lookout if the kkk trys to show up again you gotta be ready and if slave masters want you workin on the field you gotta be ready for a fight.

I bumped into someone and i fell on top of them then i felt a gun on my head some slaves  surronded us.

"Then i relized i just fell on top of big mamma penny i got up.

" Are you ok do you need some help"? i asked.

" No i got it.ruby that you girl? long time no see i see you got rid of that slave master" she said.

" Yeah. i got rid of 15 slave masters several of them i killed and the rest you know the brotherhood they have lots of people for you to kill. and you mama? " i asked.

" Well let's just say i'm an old woman sneaking out and getting slaves to canada " she said while laughing" you should come to the north".

" Well i got some unfinished business in the south and i'm not stopping until i get what i want" i said.

" Well good luck with that,but you know you can't continue killing white people because they took something from you sometimes people have to let things go or else the only thing you're doing is hurting yourself". mama said.

I knew that she was right but i can't give her the satisfaction.

" Well mama you might be right you might be wrong but i know what i'm doing is getting revenge and my parents is proud for what i'm doing and nothing's is gonna make me stop being an assassin" i said. i walked away.
