Chapter Three

You were silently reading in you room before getting interrupted by a stressed Rex "y/n Kix contacted me he said that fives he- he just left and he wants to speak to me, you and General Skywalker" you could tell he ran to your room as he was breathing more rapidly then normal.

"Okay but where is he? And what do you mean he just left!?" Rex couldn't get the words out besides opening his mouth to speak, you took that as a sign that is wasn't good so you just let Rex lead you to where Kix said fives was.

You, Rex and Anakin got to the hanger where fives was and all three of you called out "fives, fives where are you" "come on out fives we aren't going to hurt you" "we just want to talk to you." After a few minutes of silence fives eventually spoke,"General Skywalker, Rex, y/n. Thank you, thank you for trusting me" "have you come without troops" you could tell he sounded scarred and unsure.

"We have" general Skywalker shouted back in a attempt to comfort him. "Put down your weapons then" fives sounded even more scared then last time you looked up at Rex questionably wondering why your friend was so frightened but the 501st captain looked liked even worse then he sounded.

"I don't think so fives" Skywalker sounded confident and ready for anything. "Please sir! Please I'm unarmed" Rex and Anakin looked at each other before Anakin gave him a nod to put his blasters down, Anakin deactivated his lightsabers before Rex shouted "alright, I'm putting my pistols down." They went down with a slight bang on the container they were placed on.

"What are we here for fives?" Anakin seemed calm wanting to help his friend and trooper. "I- I need your help" fives was getting more and more agitated each word that came out of his mouth, "I know you do, we know you aren't well. It's been rough for you these past couple days" Anakin said back to him. "I'm not crazy!" Fives yelled at him getting more annoyed then scared "please, please just hear what I have to say" fives footsteps could be heard so all three of us turned to look in his direction.

"We're here to help you fives, just come with us let us take you back to the temple" as he was saying that a ray shield appeared around the three of you "no!" Anakin yelled as you clung on to rex's arm afraid of what might happen.

Fives appeared out from behind some boxes and said "I just need you to listen to me. Please!" Fives pleaded as Anakin said in an annoyed tone "I'm not sure we have much choice" you looked up at him crossing his arms then looked back at fives. You could see the fear in his eyes and knew that something was wrong "I was framed!"
He shouted "because I know the truth, the- the truth about a plot a massive deception" "by whom" Rex eventually said whilst you still held his arm.

"Well there's a sinister plot in the works, against the Jedi!" Fives said "I have proof of it! I can prove that everything is true beyond a shadow of a doubt!" Fives snapped as he realised Rex and Anakin were becoming sceptical but you kept all your faith is your friend.

"Show me the evidence!" Anakin snapped back with a harsher tone then before "it- the evidence is in here" fives replied pointing to the left side of his head "it's in all of us in every clone." You looked up at Rex with a confused look on your face he gave a nervous smile in an attempt to reassure you but it didn't do much good. "What is it?" Rex asked fives "organic chips built into our genetic code" fives said while resting one arm on a container, "to make us do whatever someone wants, even kill the Jedi! It's all in here!" Anakin gave him a stern look before looking over to Rex who started scratching the back of his neck which he does when he's embarrassed or nervous.

"Let's just get you some help first, then we can review everything" Anakin said getting calmer realising how distressed fives really was "YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME!" Fives snapped which made you jump a little which he took notice of.
