Goh's POV:
I looked at Ash, a smile beaming across my face. He has always been there for Pokémon. He wasn't afraid of any of them. He made me feel strong and powerful. Today was gonna be the day I asked him out. To be honest, I don't know why I haven't asked him yet. Ash then yelled "You hear that?!" "There's no Pokémon I can't tame!" I cheered. He was so right. Then he continued to speak, but as he was doing so, Arceus lunged forward and I grew still. I grew concerned. Ash had made a pained grunt upon impact. I looked down at Grookey who gasped at what was occurring. I heard Ash try to speak words, but they barely came out, and I could not hear them. Eventually Grookey started squirming and wanted to get closer. I urged Grookey to be careful and lowered him onto the sand. I looked up and I saw something I didn't want to see. Ash saw it too. There was an object sticking out from his abdomen. I couldn't really figure out what it was. I begged the professor to do something by tapping his shoulder but he didn't budge.I heard Ash mutter a few more words. Then I saw something that sent shivers down my spine. Ash fell over and laid there. Oh no. "Ash, please get up." I whispered. I waited a few seconds. Arceus just stood there. Has he just killed my Ash?! I grew angry and reached for Professor Cerise's holster grabbing a hold of his plasma blaster. I aimed and fired, not worrying too much about accuracy. Instead, the plasma beam hit him head on. He looked at me and roared. 'I have to fire again' I thought. I shot another one and Chloe grew angry at me and said "Oh my God Goh! Stop! You are gonna break it!" Right. Like the plasma blaster is worth more than Ash. I knew what I was doing was insane and could get me killed, but I got lucky because it ran away.
I looked at Ash and started sobbing slightly. I dropped the plasma blaster and went into the water. I didn't bother turning to see if Grookey would follow me or not. I sunk down onto the sea floor. The water was shallow and it smelled so salty. I looked down and I noticed that I was in a pool of blood now that was coming from Ash. I started yelling at Ash, seeing if he was awake. I kept saying "Ash, wake up please!" "Ash!" I called out to the others. They all ran out to where I was. The more I kept trying to bring Ash to his senses, the more it seemed like I was losing him. I didn't even know where the blood was coming from. Chloe and Gary reached me, along with Professor Cerise and Nurse Joy. Nurse Joy urged us to get Ash back to the sand, where we continued to try to wake Ash up while Nurse Joy attempted to stop the bleeding.
No matter how hard we tried, nothing was working. Nurse Joy explained to me that we needed to elevate Ash to help him breathe and told me to get underneath him, while reaching for more tools in her bag. I did as she said. I shouted one more time. "Ash wake up please! I need you!" I kissed his forehead gently and sat there, while Nurse Joy cleaned the wound and gauzed it. 'Oh my Gosh he's really dying', I thought as Nurse Joy attached an oxygen mask. My tears were burning I was crying so much. I wanted him back. He needs to come back. He is my everything. Nurse Joy came back with a tool and Gary asked what it was. She answered that it was a cauterizer. She explained that it works like a gas stove and that it will stop the bleeding. 'Maybe Ash will be alive' I thought. I let my thoughts wander while looking at Ash.
Nurse Joy snapped me back to reality as she urged us to look away. Chloe quickly turned her head to look at the nearby mountains. I turned my head as well. I was certain I didn't want to see what she was doing. Even if I still wanted to gaze into Ash's face. I was so crushed inside, and it didn't help hearing the sizzling noises, which almost made me look back to see what she was doing. All I felt was some heat from the cauterizer and my mind started to wander again. 'What will he look like when I see him again?' 'Will he remember what happened?' There was more sizzling and Nurse Joy told us we could turn back and I saw smoke coming out. I started crying. She put a hand on my shoulder.
Professor Cerise needed us to put Ash in the back of Nurse Joy's car. Me and you know who were the only volunteers. I lifted Ash with Gary and Professor Cerise and as soon as he was in the car, the doors were shut. 'That was the last time I am gonna see him' My thoughts only grew worse. I heard Chloe crying and walked over to her. Nurse Joy said a quick goodbye and hugged Chloe as she continued to cry. After the hug broke, Chloe cried more. I didn't say anything but I put my arms around her and hugged her, which I don't usually do. She sobbed into my shoulder. Nurse Joy's car drove away and I watched as Gary stood there. He was looking down at the ground, but then turned and looked at us. He walked over to us and hugged us and I didn't even look at him. I still don't really like him that much. Then Professor Cerise told us to get in the car and that we were going to the laboratory. "Hang on we need to go to the infirmary! I need to see Ash!" Professor Cerise stopped me and told me that I won't be any use and told me to get in the car. I did as he asked. Then that was it. We drove away back to the lab.
