It has been a few months since we rescued Tinsley and burned The Vipers clubhouse down. As far as we know there isn't a Viper left on this planet. For now the threat against us and our ladies is officially over. Until the next person decides to take a hit at us. Everything is slowly getting back into order again. Well, almost everything. Tinsley and I are still at a stand still halt with each other. There's days I just want to hug the shit out of her but from the look in her eyes; it's best I keep the hugging to nonexistent. She's still a little wary of me and I honestly couldn't blame her. I would be wary of me too if I was in her size six shoes. So I don't blame her one bit. I have to take baby steps with her but to me it will be worth it. She's worth it. Call me whipped or whatever but that girl had stolen my heart last year and I'm perfectly okay with her having it.

"Have you figured out what you're going to do with Tinsley?" Dawson asks.

"Huh?" I look at my youngest brother confused.

"Like what do you plan on doing? Just stand in one spot?" Dylan asks from the shadows.

"I plan to give her time. To not crowd her. I don't want to push her away." I answer both of them.

"That wasn't the best choice you made last time. You see what happened?" Mac calls out from the shadows.

"Well, this time's different. She needs the space. She doesn't trust me guys. And I don't blame her." I respond.

"It's not the trust or the space. She's afraid of getting hurt. Again. And again. A girl can only take so much hurt before she crumbles." Rylee says while coming up next to Dawson.

Those two can hide things all they want but I can see the little round belly under that loose shirt she's wearing.

"You know that girl loves you with her whole heart. Even the broken pieces." Kenna says while walking out of the shadows.

"So what's it going to be Kai? Stand here like an idiot and let the love of your life vanish? Or go out there and take what's yours?" Draven says as he walks up towards my sister. Great now he's giving me an ultimatum.

"If this comes to bite me in the ass I swear I'll shot your big toe." I grumble my warning out.

I make my way through our crowded backyard that's covered by the midnight sky as a blanket. I swerve left and right through the crowd. I catch a glimpse of Tinsley's colorful hair in the distance. As I get closer I can hear her conversation with some of the girls.

"How's thing with Kai?" One asks.

"It's rough." Is all she says.

"Why is that?" Another asks.

"Because he's Kai. It's just difficult right now." She vaguely answers. It's rough because of me? It is difficult? Because of me?

"How so?" The third girl asks.

"Because he's so hot than cold. He flip the switch at any given moment. I don't know if one second we will be at each others throat or not. Is it truly worth it?" She says in a broken voice. As I turn on my heels to say fuck this; one of the voices stops me in place.

"You know he loves you. All men especially the ones here can be a little difficult. Take Mac and Draven for an example. They aren't rainbows and mermaids. Draven has the same switch as Kaiser. They just don't show the world that side. But those two were meant for each other. They'd go to war with anyone over one another. The way Draven looks at Mac is the same way Kaiser looks at you." The first girl says.

"And that boy did go to war for you if you haven't realized." The second girl says with pointed look.

"When you were gone; the second you ran out. He came out for you, but he got stopped in the process and told to calm down. It took him an hour to calm down. After that hour The VP of this damn club took off with no backup, no wingman..... Nobody..... Just to try and find you. He never once quit." The third girl says.

"You should have seen the look on that boy's face when he couldn't find you like he usually does." Mac says from the corner of the yard.

"That was the look I never wanted to see on his face again." Dylan says.

"For weeks he set up searches. For weeks he never gave up hope. For weeks he set up teams to track your location. He dug into files that no one could break into. That boy went to war with the Viper's, us, and himself. He loves you. But I see both points." Kenna says.

"I." Tinsley goes to say.

"Nope we aren't done here. There's a boy beating himself up daily. Yet you don't blink an eye in his direction. You don't see how much he's changed in the few months. You haven't even noticed he's given you space so he doesn't overwhelm you. Girl get that head out your ass before you loose the one man that would burn this world down for you." Sweet Rylee snaps. I watch as Tinsley's eyes get huge.

"Now sit and marinate in your thoughts. When you figure it all out. There's a VP that deserves a little something from you. Hell, it could be I don't want to try again. Or it could be let's do baby steps. Something. Give that guy something at least. Don't leave him dangling in the distance, waiting when he could move on. He could find a girl that'll be perfect for him. A girl who can get him to smile whenever, laugh out of no where, crack jokes more, or hell make the guy believe in love again. But he won't find her because she is you. You are her. You're just too blind to see it. Couples fuck up, they make mistakes, they argue but in the end they work it out. Not run for the hill when it gets a little tough. If you take too long to think, you could lose the best guy for you." Mac says from her spot.

"You're getting the same lecture and talk that we have given Kaiser a while ago. We aren't pointing you out. We're pointing both you idiots out." Dawson pipes up.

Tinsley literally just stands there in shock because everyone has spoken their lovely wicked minds. I take that as my cue to let her think for a bit. No need to make an appearance after everyone has given their thoughts. I just don't want to push too hard and completely lose the girl. I about face and walk off the direction I had originally came from. As I make it to the clearing, a voice stops me in my tracks.

"Kaiser!"

I freeze, physically I fucking freeze. I guess her thinking only needed to be a few minutes. Usually that doesn't end well. That's another reason why I am frozen in my tracks. I turn around and come face to face with a running Tinsley. If she doesn't stop, she will hit me, bounce off me, and land on her ass.
Before my eyes. She leaps into the air and collides her body against mine.

"I'm sorry for being such an idiot."

Before I could respond, her lips have attached to my own.

Maybe just maybe, we will be okay.
