The fox easily broke the seal that hid Skybracer's abode, pushing down memories she didn't want to relive in front of someone. Lumine stared in amazement at the domain, her mouth agape.

"Lumi, close your mouth or you'll catch flies," the adeptus scolded teasingly, forcing the abode open. She stepped in, the blonde following after her. The two quietly walked in the darkness before passing through a veil of clouds. The other side was bright, fluffy white dotting the blue blanket above them.

Large trees towered over the two, vines dangling from branches. The blonde held an expression of shocked amazement, gaze darting everywhere as if she was trying to memorize it. Walls of rock lined the edges, towering over the small clearing where several small buildings sat.

"This was Skybracer's abode. He often used the tall cliffs to leap into the sky."

"You sure know a lot about him, huh?" the girl murmured, noting the sad tone the adeptus took. "What was he like?"

The cheng huang adopted a contemplative look. "He was...stubborn to a fault. And determined. He hated seeing the people hurt and would often risk his life to protect them. He was short-tempered, becoming ignorant when angered and often liked to show off. Despite this, he was caring. He loved visiting the people, seeing the children play.

"Tian was a free spirit and he loved kids. When we lost our daughter in the war, he vowed to always protect the children. It was how he ended up passing." The adeptus wiped at her eyes, ridding them of the building tears. "Tian sacrificed his antlers to hold Mount Tianheng up. It was to fall on top of a village that mostly housed children. His blood became the Bishui River."

Lumine remained silent as she took in the information, searching her friend's eyes. The girl suddenly embraced her, frowning slightly.

"You must've loved him a lot," she mumbled. The fox tensed before relaxing with a sad smile.

"Yeah. I miss him a lot. I digress-why did you wish to explore his abode?"

"Madame Ping mentioned it once and I grew curious. Shenhe and I explored Sea Gazer's a few days ago. I'm sorry for dragging you away from Venti, though."

"Mm? No worries. One finds Barbatos to be insufferable."

"Xiao said tha-" Lumine was cut off by a whoosh of wind. The women blinked as two anemo users appeared.

"You called?"

"Alatus, we were merely discussing adeptal abodes and their history."

"Oh. Apologies." [Y/N] sighed fondly before glaring at the anemo archon, who was quite obviously staring at her breasts.

"Lord Barbatos," she ground out. His eyes flicked up to hers, an innocent grin on his face. Xiao and Lumine began a conversation, aimlessly wandering to explore. The adeptus pursed her lips as the god started to drag her towards a discreet corner. He stopped when they were hidden behind a small building that she vaguely recognized as something Tian had made out of spite towards Cloud Retainer. She nearly laughed at the memory.

"We can continue in here, hm?"

A pang of guilt struck her chest and she frowned. "I would rather not."

"Okay. Why?"

"There are others here. Alatus nearly caught us earlier." Her words were half-truths and he easily picked up on it, analyzing her expression. He noted the guilt in her eyes, humming.

"And? You appear guilty, my dear cecilia."

She averted her gaze and crossed her arms, staring blankly at the ground. Venti felt his lips twitch downwards and he pulled her into an embrace. The adeptus bit her lip to prevent from crying out, trembling as she returned it.

"This abode was partially mine," she whispered, knowing tears were staining her cheeks. "It is mine, actually. At least now it is. Tian and I...we shared it."

"Tian?"

"Skybracer. Surely you've met him?"

"The blue stag who always wanted to show off his battle prowess?"

"Yeah. That's him. He passed away not long after our daughter did. Then the war ended." She felt the bard tense in her arms before she pulled away, wringing her hands. "Apologies. One did not consider the consequences of my actions."

"You-You had a daughter? And a husband? And you didn't mention it?"

"It seemed rather unimportant considering they are both dead."

"Wh-That's not-you could've said something, though. But no wonder you're so angry all the time. You have a lot of pent up sexual frustration."

"Venti," she started, exasperated. "This is not the time nor the place to insult my lack of sexual encounters."

"Why not? It is neither too cold nor too hot. Besides, releasing that frustration would do you some good."

She hummed in response, desperate to ignore the throb of her clit. She tensed when she suddenly found herself in between Venti and the wall.

"Aa? Is this not-" A moan escaped her before she could stop it and she bit down on her tongue. Venti was sucking on her neck where her heartbeat was strong, pulsing beneath her skin. Teeth scraped her skin before she felt his mouth move further down. With a gentle kiss in between her breasts, he gave her a cheeky grin and lowered himself further.

She felt her eyes widen and she quickly made sure Xiao and Lumine weren't anywhere near. With a sigh of relief at the sight of the two all the way on the other side, she looked down at where the bard was between her thighs. He had been placing feathery kisses to them, meeting her gaze when he felt her eyes on him.

She gave him a slight nod and barely had time to brace for a tongue being pressed firmly against her clothed sex. She leaned against the wall, widening her stance. She easily felt the fabric be pushed to the side and let out a shuddering breath when something warm and wet pushed up into her.

With a moan, she closed her eyes, letting her head fall against the building's wall. Every flick of his tongue made her legs grow weaker and she was fairly certain she would collapse if not for the strong grip the god had on her. She nearly yelped when he picked her up, legs over his shoulders.

She opened her eyes and noticed the bard was looking at her, tongue buried in her. She was breathless at this point, noting that his lower face had a sheen to it, likely due to her slick. Heat rushed to her face in embarrassment but kept eye contact with the bard. A whine escaped her when he began sucking on her clit, causing her to push her hips against his face.

"Someone's eager." He detached himself for a split second before hungrily lapping at her slit once more. "Better than cider."

She huffed indignantly. "I su-ure hope so."

He chuckled, breath tickling her sensitive flesh. She whimpered at the feeling, clenching in desperation. He seemed to notice it as he let his tongue be drawn back into her. A tight coil made itself known in her stomach and she panted, desperate for her release.

She mewled when she felt his tongue press against her g-spot, bucking her hips up. Without warning, she felt the knot unwind in one motion. She noted his eyes widening in surprise but he narrowed them, eagerly drinking in her release. [Y/N] was amazed at how well he was able to do so, unwilling to let a single drop go to waste.

Her body was trembling with exertion and she found her legs were sore from the position. The bard gently took her off his shoulders, helping her stand when she nearly stumbled. She shot him a grateful look before frowning when she realized her juices had dripped down her legs.

"Ehm." Venti blinked at her before following her gaze and giving a sheepish giggle.

"Oops?"

"Do tell me you have a towel."

"Uhh. Noo?"

"Barbatos."

"Ehe."
