𝙸𝙸. 𝙱𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚝𝚑, 𝚜𝚠𝚒𝚖, 𝚛𝚒𝚍𝚎๛

Kiyami's POV :

To help the Sully family settle into their new home, Tsireya and I decided to assist by carrying the loads of the family from their ikran ,to their Marui. It's was a little cozy tent ,big enough to accommodate for all of them. We set down the packages lightly on the ground inside of the Marui .

As we left the family to themselves,I couldn't help but notice the look in Neteyam's eyes as I walked away.It was as though he was ... interested in me... I brushed the thought off my mind.I had only just met this guy ,he couldn't  be onto me so easily. After all I'm just here to help them ,nothing else.

After a while ,the Sully kids joined us in the water ,Tuk, the youngest sister seemed most excited about it ,she ,as well as her older sister ,Kiri, leaped into the water with a huge splash . Neteyam and Lo'ak  joined in soon after . I watched as the siblings took off in the water,Kiri wandered off into the coral reefs, exploring its beauty. Tuk took off with a school of small fish. Reya and I swam with Roxto and Ao'nung , keeping a watchful eye over the siblings.

I tilted my head in confusion as I saw them come up to the surface.

"Why did they  swim back up?" I signed to Reya.

"Yeah what's wrong with them?" Signed Roxto obnoxiously, holding in laughter.

"They are still learning ." Reya replied in sign.

All four of us swam to the surface . Reya questioned them on why they came back up.

"You guys swim too fast! Wait for us !" Tuk huffed.

"You are not good divers ,Maybe at swimming through trees ,but- ,Ao'nung scoffed, before being hit in the head by Reya.

"Cmon bro ,we don't understand this... finger-talk!" ,Neteyam chimed in, waving his hands frantically.

"It's your breathing ,it's the pinocle to being a great swimmer. I'm sure Tsireya can teach you?" I nudged my friend next to me.

"I'd be glad to. But I'll leave the signing to Kiyami." She smiled.

Roxto floated in closer to the group circle asking about where Kiri was. Nobody seemed to know. Kiyami replied with the last place she saw her. Diving down in the waters ,she retraced my steps to find kiri still at the coral reef shed been admiring minutes ago. She informed the group about her whereabouts ,releasing tension from the groups atmosphere.

Third person POV :

"Why don't we start with teaching them how to ride the ilu, hm?" Ao'nung asked,breaking the silence i the group

He continued to create clicks using his mouth  ,summoning a few ilu. Taking one under his muscular arm.

"These are ilu. You want to live here ,you have to ride.."

Tsireya led Lo'ak to a ilu, quietly signalling Kiyami to do the same with Neteyam. Snapping from her thoughts ,she grabbed Neteyam by the hand . She stopped at a stray ilu , slowly resting a hand on the creature .It nuzzled her in reply. The creatures of the island always intrigued her.No matter how big ,no matter how small. She  glanced at the boy behind her , he followed her hand with his eyes.

"You can touch it if you want to." she chuckled

Neteyam gave a nervous look ,raising  eyebrow, "You sure it won't bite?" 

She nodded, placing his hand gently on its back, to help him get over his fear .She caressed his enormous hand under hers to place around the 

"You hold on tight when you ride ,or you will fall off."
