Stray Kidz-Vampire pt.3

Hyunjin drove you and Changbin outside the city to a mansion that's hidden in the woods.

"Where are we?" You ask as Changbin helps you out of Hyunjin's car.

"This is where we live." Hyunjin answers as he starts walking up the steps. You follow behind, staying close to Changbin.

You look in awe at the beauty of the mansion. "It's breathtaking, all of you live here?"

"I'll give you a tour some other time. Right now..." Hyunjin stops in front of a large set of doors and pushes them open. "...we have something to deal with."

Inside the spacious room the other six stand waiting. The sight of Chan scares you and you hide behind Changbin.

"Now that they're here, can you please tell us what the hell is going on?" Seungmin angrily asks Minho.

"Come in." Minho says to you. You stay glued to Changbin as you walk in. "We're here because..." He looks at Chan. "This bastard decided to try and attack her." Minho smiles but anyone can tell that he's not happy. "Now, what I want to know is why?"

Everyone looks at Chan standing by a window. "So I'm the only one that's tired of watching her everyday and night? We've been doing this for over 2 years and nothing has happened." Chan angrily spits at Minho.

"So you thought that the best course of action was to attack her." You step from behind Changbin and see Hyunjin slowly take a few steps forward. The next second, he has Chan by the collar. "What the hell is wrong with you!? What was killing her going to solve?" Hyunjin nearly smashes him through the wall in anger.

"Get the fuck off me!" Chan fights out of Hyunjin's grasp and knocks him into an adjacent wall. You want to run over to him but you're too scared to move. Changbin quickly gets behind Chan and put him in a headlock. "G-Get o-off me!" He struggles to say.

Jeongin and Felix stand in front of you like a shield. "Stay behind us." "We won't let him get to you." They say looking back at you.

"Enough!" Everyone turns their attention to Minho. "Let him go. Don't try anything." Changbin releases him but stays close just in case. Seungmin helps Hyunjin to his feet and brings him closer to everyone.

"Fine, then why have we been doing this?" Chan repeats his question from earlier.

Minho looks over at you and holds his hand out. You hesitate for a minute, but walk over and take his hand. "I wanted her to marry me at first." That caught everybody by surprise, especially you. "When the time was right, I would make it known that Yona was the bride of an original. That way no vampire could touch her. It's against our laws and it's punishable by death."

"Why did you change your mind?" You ask out of curiosity. If saying that sooner could've prevented everything that's happened so far, you would've been happy to say it.

Minho lets go of your hand and cups your face. "Because someone else has your heart." Your eyes go wide and you know that your face is red as an apple. "I couldn't make someone say that they love me when another person consumes their thoughts." He lets you go and walks over to stand next to Chan. "If you had a problem with how I run things, you could've said something sooner."

"No one is allowed to question their Originals orders."

Minho smacks Chan in the back of the head. "This isn't the 16th century anymore stupid. Attacking her wasn't gonna solve your problem, it would've made everything worse. Alright!" He yells in a more commanding tone and starts looking at the other 6. "If anyone has any issues they will come to me. Is that understood?"
