After the surprising "Series of unfortunate events", Shantae and Zuri were sleeping together in bed, until Zuri felt like doing some night training. So he snuck out of the house and started to practice a familiar dance.
Zuri: FU SION HA!
The yelling woke Shantae up and she went outside in her jammies to see what's going on and Zuri blushed when he saw her in her PJs.

Shantae: Mmmm.. Zuri? What are you doing?
Zuri: Oh, I'm just practicing a dance!
Shantae: Really? What kind of dance?
Zuri: It's called the Fusion Dance! It requires two dancers. If they do the dance properly, their bodies will become one!
Shantae: Wow! Really?
Zuri: Yes! But if they do it wrong, then they turn into a skinny or obese version.
Shantae: What!? I do not want that to happen!
Zuri: Then practice makes perfect! Come practice with me! It'll be fun!
Shantae: Okay!
Together, Shantae and Zuri practiced the Fusion Dance and corrected each other's moves. During so, they found themselves getting closer to each other. They smiled and hugged while giggling. After an hour of training, they decided to hit the sack.
It was morning in Scuttle Town and they woke up and met with their friends who were confused on what they did last night.
Sky: What were you two doing? We heard you screaming fu sion ha all night!
Shantae: Zuri and I were practicing!
Rottytops: Well, I guess that explains it!
But then an explosion occurred and they saw Risky Boots on her ship with a newly improved TinkerSlug 2.0.
Shantae: Risky Boots!
Zuri: You just don't give up, do ya! You always keep coming back for more!
Risky Boots: I told you it wasn't the last you seen of me! Also I'm still mad at you Zuri because you shot me in the arm with that bullet!
Zuri: I flicked it at you! Which is a big difference!
Risky Boots: No it's not! Now you're gonna pay!
The Barons of Sequin Land showed up at Risky's side.
Ammo Baron: I hope you're ready for Round 2 Clifford The Big Red Rage Monster!
Twitch/Vinegar: I hope it's our break time soon...
