The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday

After the long night you had yesterday, you finally brought yourself to get up. You looked at your FazWatch and you still had 45 minutes to get there. You thought to yourself how you didn't know if taking the FazWatch home would be stealing from the company and you were doing something wrong. You jump out of bed and run to the bathroom to take a shower.

16 Minutes Later

After drinking a little bit of coffee, you think about the nightmare last night. Why out of anyone on the planet, would Roxanne be there and why have her attack me by that corpse. My mind might just be fucked up from yesterday. You would tell Roxanne about it, but it might freak her out or might make her think differently about you, two things you didn't want.

You pour a bunch of coffee in your thermos. You grab your phone and head out to your car. It was pretty cold outside which didn't surprise you, it's been snowing for a few days. You sit in the car trying to heat it up, it was probably colder in the car than outside. After a minute, you reverse out of the apartment complex and head towards the PizzaPlex.

15 Minutes Later

You pull up to the PizzaPlex, it looks bigger than it did yesterday. It always looked creepy, but you couldn't figure out why. You get out of the car and walk towards the building, you enter to see a bunch of families leaving, probably since it closes in 10 minutes. You look past the crowd to see Vanessa waiting near the statue, probably for you. After pushing through the crowd, you find yourself about two feet away from Vanessa. She looks at you with a smile.  "Oh hey Y/N! How are ya?"  Vanessa said.  "I'm good, just having to push through that crowd."  You said.  "Yeah I bet."  Vanessa said with a giggle.  "Roxanne will be happy to see you."  Vanessa said. You raised an eyebrow from her response.  "What do you mean?"  You asked.  "She's been talking about you a lot, she's very fond of you. She even was happier and preforming better after meeting you."  You looked at Vanessa, somewhat in disbelief.  "Does Roxanne have a crush on me or something like that? No, that would never be the case, she probably just likes me as a friend."  You thought to yourself. But, thinking about it more, what if that was the case.  "I mean... she is very nice and attractive, she actually listens to my dumbass conversations, she even tried to protect me when carrying me towards the medical room, and she even felt way more hurt compared to the rest of the band members when I woke up and when I left. This might just be me overthinking like I always do, maybe."  You thought to yourself. Vanessa snapped you out of your deep thoughts, you jumped in response.  "You good? Looks like you were deep in thought."  Vanessa said.  "A little bit, I'm fine though."  You said. Vanessa nodded in response.  "Anyways, I must get going, good luck Y/N."  Vanessa said.  "Thanks, have a good night."  You said. Vanessa walks towards the exit behind you.

The first thing you do after checking in is walk to your office. The walk is always the worst since not only is it on the complete other side of the building, you are still in pain from yesterday, but it seems to be going away.

Finally arriving to Rockstar Row, you look to see that no one is in their rooms, probably out practicing or playing around. You arrive at your office looking about the same as it did yesterday, some stuff was moved around, probably because some staff bots were cleaning up in here. You plopped down onto your chair and look around to see where everyone is.
