"Aargh..."

Y/n let out a small groan. Her brows burrowing as she slowly opened her
e/c-eyes. Her vision was blurry at first.

But as seconds passed by, she was finally able to see clearly. Y/n was surprised to find herself inside a familiar room, she sat up as she roamed her eyes around. This is his...!!

His majesty's room!

The h/c-haired lady found herself inside Erwin's room, sitting on his bed that smells exactly like the handsome, Eldian emperor.

Y/n held her head, shutting her eyes upon feeling a sudden ache on her head. While she tries to calm down, the h/c-haired lady begins to remember all of what happened.

She was interrupted when the door opened, Y/n looked at the door, taken by surprise when the emperor walked in.

Erwin was surprised, too. Seeing her awake. Little did she know, she's been asleep for three days straight because of exhaustion. "My lady...I'm glad you're finally awake. Wait here for now, I'll-"

"Danaya...Philip...Lionel..." Y/n spoke.

The blonde man stared at Y/n, stunned to see the worrisome and concerned look on his fiance's face . "...W-where are they?"

Erwin let out a deep sigh, he closed the door behind him then walked towards Y/n.

"My lady...Sir Philip and Lady Danaya were wounded, but they're fine now. But fret not. They're okay now. Sir Lionel is fine, too."

Y/n kept silent as she watched the emperor pull a chair and place it beside the bed, on her left side. Erwin sat down, his blue eyes never left her, making her feel awkward.

"You have to rest, my lady." Erwin spoke.

The h/c-haired lady shook her head, keeping a stoic expression, that came out with something similar to stubborness for Erwin. "I want to see them first, your majesty. My people got hurt, and so shall I check on them as someone they follow..."

"They'll feel better with only knowing you're already awake, my lady. Sir Philip, Sir Lionel and Lady Danaya visited you as soon as they woke up, and all they prayed for was for you to feel better soon. They also wished for you to rest even after you regained consciousness." Erwin stated.

Y/n wasn't able to respond, knowing already that she can't win against the blonde man.

It seems that even with different excuses she can make up just to get out of the bed, and Erwin's room, her fiancé won't let her be. As long as she isn't completely healed.

"I understand. Then please just ask someone to pass a message to them from me, your majesty." Erwin was relieved.

He's relieved that Y/n had submitted.

"I will, but I shall take my leave first. We need the royal physician to check up on you. I'll be right back, so stay right here."

Erwin stood up from sitting down, he turned around as he made his way to the door. Before leaving, he glanced back at
Y/n, who was staring at him. "My lady."

"Yes, your majesty?"

The blonde man let out another sigh.

"I'm sorry if I came too late."

Y/n's eyes widened a bit, she didn't say anything and just stared at the blonde man with a shocked look. She could clearly see the disappointment and regret in Erwin's eyes. And she can't even understand why the emperor is showing her vulnerability.
