"How's it going?" Sniper asked.

"We found a survivor," Adam answered.

"Come to headquarters," Sniper instructed.

"Copy that. Adam out," Adam replied.

"So, sir, do you have family?" Adam asked the old man. "Can I ask a favor, sir?" the old man requested. "Yes, what is it?" Augustine asked.

"Sir, my 4-year-old granddaughter and her parents are in their house. Can we go there and check on them? I just want to see if they survived, even if it's just my granddaughter," the old man said. Augustine fell silent. "Augustine, is that okay?" Adam asked. "Hey Augustine, are you alright?" Adam inquired.

"Ye... Yeah... It's okay. Give me the location," Augustine answered. When they arrived, Augustine stopped the car. "I'll go and check inside," Adam said. "I'll go with you," the old man said. "No, sir, you stay here. I'll go with him," Augustine said, following Adam. When they entered the house, it was empty. They searched everywhere but found no one.

"Let's go back. It seems like no one survived," Adam said. Augustine remained silent, stopping in his tracks until someone attacked him from behind. "Look out!" Adam shouted and shot the zombie. "Whoosh... I thought there were no zombies here, but I guess I was wrong. Even zombies can hide now. By the way, Augustine, are you okay? You seemed distracted ever since we were in the car," Adam said. "I just wonder how my sister is doing," Augustine said. "Never mind. I know she is fine. Let's go back now," Augustine said, gently pushing Adam to start walking. Just as they were about to leave, they heard a faint cry of a young girl, barely audible due to the quiet surroundings.

"His granddaughter might have survived," Augustine said. He quickly searched every corner of the house. Adam stayed at the entrance, allowing Augustine to look for the girl. Augustine returned carrying the little girl, wiping her tears.
