WHAT IS A SMARTBOARD?

An interactive whiteboard serves as a substitution for a traditional whiteboard that teachers use to write on except it has the functionality of touch recognition. To me, the biggest appeal of Smartboard is that it allows teachers to E-Teaching which means more flexibility while teaching something in front of the class. Teachers need a well-lit canvas beside them so they. When I lived abroad with my father back in 2010 in America, I enrolled in the local school there. I remember particularly entering one of the classes I'm in and seeing this giant whiteboard next to the teacher's desk. I remember my teacher at the time booting up the whiteboard using the remote she has and to my amusement witnessing this board just light up and display the home screen of her laptop. She starts to open up some tabs and close another with just a touch on the whiteboard and I couldn't believe what I'm seeing. Then the class starts like normal with the whiteboard now called Smartboard being used to project her laptop screen.

Now, the interconnectivity is much more compatible with more devices like a touchpad that can be connected to the screen of the Smartboard. Smartboard makes life easier for the student as they increase the engagement student has with the lesson. More students participated as well as asked more questions. However, integrated whiteboards have considerably enhanced classroom instruction, not the PC itself. Another advantage of using Smartboard is the lessons are presented on a smartboard in a huge, vibrant style, and students are eager to participate. A student who has grown up playing video games will find the full HD resolution of the images appealing.

With a smartboard, the traditional chalk-and-talk method is history. Nobody will be dozing off, not even the teacher, when text, images, graphics, and videos are all included in the lecture. While introducing students to a new world inside the classroom, these visuals also take them outside of it. Making the classroom much more fun and engaging for all involved.

For more engaging conversations and engagement, students can work together with the teacher and their classmates. It works well for creative thinking. On the board, notes are taken, stored, and shared.

The ability to contribute is made simpler for pupils with different learning styles during lessons on an interactive whiteboard. The writing style is appropriate for youngsters who may need more time to grasp as well as visual and auditory learners. It also enables quick learners to advance quickly.

The last bit of detail I wanted to add before ending my review on Smartboard is that learning doesn't have to be boring. Absorbing information while not interacting with the source can be daunting at times. With Smartboard, the idling of students when being taught a lesson can change. Differences in teaching methods can be good for teachers and students. I would love it if my teacher or lecturer used Smartboard in class because everyone could easily write and show their thoughts using the Smartboard.
